GH Star Laura Wright Inspires Fans With Simple Words On Home

General Hospital (GH) star Laura Wright effortlessly inspired her many ABC fans, who adore her as Carly Corinthos on the daytime soap. As so many inspirational posts seem to be, it involved taking a step back in time.

Time With Wes

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Laura told her GH fans that she was with Wes Ramsey, and fans love seeing photos of him because he’s back on General Hospital in the Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) storyline.

The post showed them boating, relaxing on a deck, by a pool, and enjoying feasts of crabs.

While many daytime drama fans loved the idea of dining on Maryland crabs, others noticed how she almost effortlessly inspired people.

A Line About Being Home

One message that resonated with fans came when she wrote in her caption, “More July fun on the east side!! So grateful when work takes me home ❤️🦀🌞🌞 ok August- I know you have some wild times in store for me!!”

That line about home touched people, and one fan said to her in the replies, “We love when it brings you home too!!!”

Most General Hospital fans know that Laura Wright was born in Washington, D.C. But Soap Opera Digest reminds them that she was raised in Clinton, Maryland.

These days, she thinks of the place as home. Others shared memories of spotting Laura, Wes Ramsey and their friends enjoying the crab feast.

More than a dozen photos accompanied her caption, and as usual, people raved about Laura’s hair, her handsome man, and her sweet smile.

More Inspiration

One photo that seemed inspirational was simply of some signs in a cabin. They spoke of lake life, but people could apply them to everyday life wherever home is. They said:

  • Wake up smiling
  • Soak up the sun
  • Sit by the fire
  • Eat and drink plenty
  • Nap often
  • Enjoy the sunset, and
  • Be grateful for this day.

What was especially nice about the photo was that Laura Wright noticed those inspirational sayings, stopped to photograph them, and shared them with her followers.

Being intentionally mindful – Instagram

Fans will probably recognize that as very much in keeping with Laura’s social media posts. She often shares simple moments that encourage gratitude and mindfulness.

Some Things In Life Are Free

What’s even nicer about it is that most people who live anywhere in the world can hang onto those words. Because sunsets are free wherever you are.

Smiling and feeling grateful are worth doing even if your plate isn’t full of delicious crabs.

Sometimes, it’s enough to say that we did well to get through the day, had a little power nap, and enjoyed the sun as it was shining.
