General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Holly Sutton swooping in to finally help bring down Victor — after Felicia locates her, of course.
General Hospital Spoilers – What Has Holly Been Up To?
The last we saw of Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), she had been involved with a cabin explosion that allegedly sent her to a burn facility, but Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), and the audience knew she had faked the burns and was really healthy as can be going off in search of her son, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons).
Before Holly left, she did manage to get Selina Wu (Lydia Look) a drug to give Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and we recently learned that the drug has made him impotent, something Victor didn’t realize until he tried to have a night of fun with Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur).
Now, Victor has a bevy of hostages on The Haunted Star and it’s setting sail for parts unknown. Felicia tracks Holly down in a tropical location this week to help find Victor and Samms will be back on our screens.
General Hospital Updates – Emma Samms Is Thrilled To Be Back
Much of Holly’s latest story was supposed to play out in 2020, but COVID got in the way. Sadly, Samms’ first bout with the virus turned into Long COVID and her health kept her back home in England until last year. She finally made it to the States to tape a short story arc in which we learned where Holly had been and then saw her being forced to work for Victor. Now, Samms is back for another short stint but was glad to get her feet wet again the last time around.
This time, she was glad the story didn’t focus so much on Holly, but instead, the entire Ice Princess story, which Holly is just a small part of.
“It’s not so much about my character, it’s about the story and actually, that’s a bit of a relief,” Samms said in April 21, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Even though my character is important to the story, it’s not my character’s story.”
It turns out Holly is just where she needs to be — in Venezuela. That is where Laura Collins (Genie Francis) believes that Victor has a hidden compound. Is she right and how will Holly be able to help? Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out.
