General Hospital Spoilers: Can Jack Save His Romance With Carly By Dropping The Lies?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is ready to clean house, and I’m not just talking about her lakeside palace that Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) seems to never mess up.

It looks like she’s going to level with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) this week, and that might leave their relationship in the gutter. Carly has been waiting for just the right time to cut ties with the WSB Station Chief, but is this it?

With Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) going rogue and working directly against Jack’s orders, Carly’s insight could help keep her daughter safe.

She might not be looking at it that way though, as she’s eager to toss him out with last week’s trash and move on — possibly with his arch nemesis, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). However, there’s one way I can see Carly actually entertaining keeping Jack around. Do you see it too?

Laying Their Cards on the Table

Carly is finally ready to lay it all out for Jack and tell him what she knows — or at least imply enough that he starts to get unnerved by the undertone of the conversation.

From the look of the preview scenes, it’s seeming like Jack is going to know exactly what Carly is saying without her having to spell it all out, but if we know Carly, she’ll end up going there anyway.

A telegraphed message isn’t enough to really let her unleash all of the fury she has built up against him for the last six months or better.

GH Spoilers Spill Joss is Still at Risk

Ticking Jack off and kicking him out of her life isn’t the best way to play both sides of the fence, and again, if we know Carly, we know she’s not going to leave any stone unturned that might help her get her daughter released from a life as a WSB agent. There’s just one problem.

Even with Jack’s help, Carly can’t force Joss to exit the bureau when she doesn’t want to. Her daughter has taken a liking to a life of underground power, and she doesn’t seem keen on listening to Jack when he tries to limit it.

Jack Has to Choose

Will Jack choose his career over Carly? Will he pour his heart out and beg for her forgiveness? Will she believe his sad puppy dog eyes if he tells her he’s never felt the way he does about her about anyone else in his life?

Will she believe his claims that he has Joss’ best interests at heart, but he can’t seem to keep her in line? Ok, she might not struggle to believe that part. But can she forgive his ongoing lies of omission and the fact that he used her to recruit her daughter — and in such a cruel manner?

Honestly, I think Valentin has been right all along to suspect that Carly might still catch feelings for this guy. I’m not sure she’s going to have as easy of a time as she suspects kicking him to the curb.
