General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Michael E. Knight is very excited about what’s to come as his character, Martin Grey gets paired with Lucy Herring’s Lucy Coe.
In the GH Fantasy Events gathering that happened via Zoom recently, the actor shared that he’s been friends with Herring for decades. The former All My Children actor, who played Tad “the Cad” Martin on the now-defunct soap, said he learned that he’ll be paired with Herring from the show’s executive producer Frank Valentini.
The actor shared how he learned about the new storyline.
“He walks over to me on stage and says, ‘You’re jumping into bed with Lucy next week.’ No pressure!” the actor shared.
A “Fantastic” Pairing
In an interview at the ABC Daytime fan event Super Soap Weekend, which took place in Florida, Knight was proud to say that he and Herring have known each other for a long time. He said they have 75 years of combined experience in the world of soap operas. He also thought that pairing his alter ego and Herring’s Lucy was a “fantastic” and “wonderful” idea.
Even their fellow castmates believe so, too. James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine), who’s also a close friend of Knight, said that they’re a great pair.
“You’re both so prepared — more than I think anyone on the show. I know I’ve never seen a script in your hands. You know your dialogue backwards and forwards,” Stuart said.
Stuart, who portrays Valentin Cassadine added that all that’s missing when Knight and Herring were filming their scenes was a “bucket of popcorn.”
Michael E. Knight Lauds GH Boss
Knight lauded Frank Valentini for managing to keep the show going even during the pandemic. He’s also thrilled about getting the chance to share a romantic storyline with Herring’s Lucy.
General Hospital: Harmony Confesses
Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) will confess something to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) at The Invader. She’ll worry that Alexis may not want anything to do with her after her revelation.
Harmony seems to have a lot of secrets. She just had a meeting with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who asks for her assistance for her missing birth certificate. It’s clear that Harmony has an idea why there’s no record of Willow’s birth. She’s not her biological mother and she’s been hiding the truth for years. She may have had Willow through an illegal adoption and probably have no idea who her biological parents are.
