General Hospital Spoilers: With Sonny And Willow Out Of The Picture, Who Will Nina Lean On As Her Life Falls Apart?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) has no one to turn to. With Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) banishing her from their home and his life, she can’t even turn to her daughter, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), because she butchered both relationships in one fell swoop.
As Sonny soon makes himself crystal clear about his intentions for the future, Nina will begin to fall apart in ways we’ve yet to see.
Yes, that’s hard to believe. Who is going to help her pick up the crumbling pieces of her life and put things back together before she digs herself into an even deeper hole she may not be able to climb out of?
General Hospital Spoilers — Alone Again, Naturally
Nina doesn’t have many friends to call her own. Normally, she would turn to her aunt, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), anytime her heart was breaking. But Liesl is still dealing with her own pain and grief.
It’s been one year since she lost her daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), and she has put off dealing with it for most of that time. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) can certainly attest to that.
He may have been close to Liesl, but he isn’t the right person to offer Nina a shoulder to cry on. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is a fine supplement for Liesl in her absence, but she’s got a lot on her plate right now with financial concerns and trying to rebuild Deception under new ownership.
Besides, Maxie is more of a bearer of truth than Nina probably wants to confront right now. Ava Jerome (Maura West) is Nina’s best friend, but she’s living with Sonny at the moment — and Ava was always clear that Nina should have told him the truth long ago. The way Ava sees it, Nina got what she knew was coming to her.
GH Spoilers Hint Nina Gets Mixed Up With The Wrong Guy
Nina’s new business arrangement with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is sure to throw a wrench into the mix. She didn’t intend on having to deal with the guy any longer than was necessary to get the charges against Sonny dropped, but Cyrus will soon position Nina right where he wants her.
Even if he tells Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to drop the charges against Sonny, he can easily go back on his word.
Furthermore, he can tell the police Nina pressured him into it in some fashion — or blame Sonny for doing so and claim he had his henchmen, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), come into his room and try to kill him, which he did.
This is going to give Cyrus serious leverage he didn’t have before, and it’s going to leave Nina tethered to him when she’s already at her weakest.
General Hospital Spoilers — A White Knight Arrives
Jilted from her mafioso husband — and wrapped up in crime with his nemesis — Nina will need someone to bail her out of this mess, or at very least be her ally as she navigates how to put an end to all of it.
Enter Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), the friend she can always count on who is still trying to make amends for the pain he caused her when they were married.
Nina and Valentin have come a long way since then, and she is still devoted to his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Valentin is dealing with his own heartbreak since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) ended their relationship due to his lies.
He and Nina may soon find themselves relating to one another more than they ever expected to at this stage in their lives. Do we sense a rekindling between them headed our way? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
