Harrison Chase’s Odd Obsession With Willow Cain
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Chase is supposed to be happily married to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), but since he’s started hanging out with Willow more and foolishly believing her story about not shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), he’s gotten obsessed with proving her innocence. In fact, in many ways, he’s become obsessed with her as a whole.
Despite knowing that Willow cheated on Michael, he still holds the nurse, his ex-wife, in very high regard. Is Chase still a little in love with the nurse?
That may be the case. After all, Chase has built a disdain toward Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), someone who’s not only his family now, but was once his best friend. How far will Chase continue to spiral thanks to his “friendship” with Willow?
Chase’s Career First, Next Marriage?
Chase has already lost his badge due to Willow. The straight and narrow cop crossed a line in his personal investigation, trying to prove Willow’s innocence, and now he’s no longer allowed to do the very thing he was so passionate about.
Chase does have career options, and thanks to BLQ’s Quartermaine funds, he doesn’t need to worry about money. Plus, in the land of soaps, anyone can snag any dream role without any experience, but that’s not the point.
At the end of the day, if Willow can fool Chase about shooting Drew, turn him against Michael, and cause him to lose his beloved job (something that doesn’t seem to be an issue for him), can she shatter his marriage, too? Willow isn’t the sweet and innocent nurse fans once knew, and she’s not above seducing Chase to use him.
During the Thursday, February 5 episode, Chase and Brook Lynn fought about Michael, and they’ve bickered about Willow. Could this signal the beginning of the end for their marriage, too?
