General Hospital Spoilers have indicated that there are a few storylines that we still don’t have answers for. Sometimes, there is a lot going on the canvas, and the writers have to drop certain storylines.
Die-hard viewers don’t forget, and often wonder- will they go back to these important points that have been left unanswered?
General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatling-Holt’s Killer Has Yet to Be Revealed
Back in the fall of 2023, Austin Gatling-Holt (Roger Howarth) was blackmailed by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), to testify that he was too frail to be in prison and Cyrus ordered Austin’s cousin, Mason Gatling (Nathanyael Grey) to kidnap Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Austin was tired of being under Cyrus’ thumb, and was about to turn in evidence against him.
When he went to retrieve the evidence, Austin was shot and killed by an unknown assailant. Since then, the storyline was dropped and we still do not know who killed Austin.
Cyrus is the most likely suspect, but it still has not been confirmed. Did Cyrus kill Austin? Or is there someone else that we are not aware of that could have pulled the trigger?
GH Spoilers – Drew Cain Quartermaine: Whose Memories Does He Have?
When Billy Miller left the role of Drew Cain in 2019, Drew still had no memories of his life as Drew Cain, but he did have his twin brother, Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) memories.
Franco (Roger Howarth) did have Drew’s memories for a short time, but they were never transferred back to Drew.
When Cameron Mathison took over the role of Drew in 2021, there was no mention if he ever got his memories of his life as Drew Cain back, or if he still has the memories of his twin brother, Jason Morgan.
Drew, last name later changed to Quartermaine, loves to throw history at people, but the fact is that Drew was not around to remember those memories, but Jason was.
Does he still have Jason’s memories? Does he have his own memories as Drew or does he have both? The answer is still unclear.
General Hospital Spoilers – Scott Baldwin’s Whereabouts Are Still Unknown
In August, Scott (Kin Shriner) went to interrogate the pharmacist that was switching Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) bi-polar medication with placebos, and he learned that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was responsible.
Suddenly, Scott vanishes from the canvas and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has taken over his cases. We still do not know where Scott went off to, and he has barely been mentioned since.
Kin Shriner is known for taking time off, and then returning to the show, so it’s safe to say that we haven’t seen the last of Scotty, but we would sure like to know where he is.
GH Spoilers – Jagger Cates’ Murder Has Been Dropped by the PCPD And Has Been Forgotten
The murder of Jagger Cates (Adam J. Harrington) was a huge plotline last fall. Viewers know that Sonny shot him, but somehow no cameras that were said to be all over the Quartermaine property caught this. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was charged with the crime, and arrested, and spent some time in jail.
Meanwhile, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was questioned by Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and there was an inconsistency with her statement about taking a rideshare that night that has not been followed through with yet.
Wouldn’t the police know by now that Kristina did not take a rideshare that night? Soon enough, the gun that Alexis dumped at Blackstone Canyon to protect Kristina, was sent to the police in a box. The question is who found the gun and sent it to the police?
We still don’t have answers to that question. The PCPD and the FBI have dropped the ball on this investigation since, even though there are clearly things that they could investigate. The FBI would have a special interest in this, and could easily find out who sent the gun to the police.
However, there has been no mention of this for months, and the case (and the storyline essentially) has been dropped. Who saved Alexis from prison?
Why hasn’t Kristina or anyone else been charged with the crime yet? When will the PCPD or FBI have a lead? We still don’t know, and we hope to have answers soon.
