General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Carly Gives Into Liesl’s Pressure, Knowing She May Be Willow’s Only Hope?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will give into Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) pressure to strongly influence Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Carly most likely will give into Liesl’s pressure, knowing she’s Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) aunt and the best chance for a bone marrow match.

 General Hospital Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht On The Attack

Liesl knows that Carly sat on the truth that Willow is Nina’s other twin for months, and she’s on the attack to tell her exactly what she thinks what she did. She follows her into an elevator at the hospital and presses the stop button, and lets her have it. Surprisingly, Carly doesn’t even try to defend herself – she even has a bit of compassion; after all, her daughter lost her life saving Carly’s daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Even though Liesl buttonholed Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) about being tested as a bone marrow donor match for Willow, she doesn’t tell Carly that. Carly, however, undoubtedly considers that fact since Liesl would be Willow’s closest living relative aside from Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), and even that would be dicey.

General Hospital Updates – Liesl Obrecht Makes Strong Suggestions

Liesl makes some strong suggestions about how Carly might make up for the pain she’s caused Nina by keeping her children and grandchildren from her. She knows it’s a long shot but she wants her to convince Willow to show some acceptance for her mother and give Nina a chance before it’s too late. That includes Wiley and the new baby, Amelia Corinthos (Owen and Nathan Ford), who Nina has seen but not been able to hold. Liesl does bring up Britta Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and how she gave her life fighting the Hook so Josslyn could get away – something she learned from Britt before she died. Carly, of course is now acutely aware of that fact as well, since Josslyn came clean to her also about Britt giving her life to save her.

Pleasantly Surprised?

Carly responds to Liesl’s pleading and guilt tripping in a totally unexpected way, and agrees to talk to Willow about giving Nina a chance-first with her. Once Willow trusts Nina, assuming she lives long enough, then time with the grandchildren should fall in line naturally. Carly will also talk to Michael Corinthos, (Chad Duell) since she realizes a lot of his hate for Nina was fueled by her and her hate.

No one is arguing that Willow’s late twin, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was probably beyond fixing by Nina’s motherly love had she known, although she would have tried. Carly realizes a lot of her hate for Nina is transference of her hate for Nelle.
