General Hospital Spoilers: Will Sonny Remain Loyal to Nina When the Truth Comes Out — or Will He Default to Team Carly?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is about to learn just how vindictive and vengeful the woman he married really is.
He thought that Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) had left her ill feelings toward Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in the past, but Nina just couldn’t handle leaving sleeping dogs to lie. She wanted to see Carly carted off to prison for years to come.
She wanted her out of sight and out of mind — particularly Sonny’s mind. She knew that marrying Sonny wasn’t enough; he would always put Carly first in some way.
Nina was ready to come first, but now she’s going to be last on Sonny’s list as the truth drives a wrecking ball through her happy marriage. Will she find herself mourning the loss of what could’ve been with Sonny while watching him tend to Carly’s broken heart?
General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Isn’t the Only Bad Guy
Nina may have leveled Sonny and his family in one fell swoop, and she might even manage to feel sorry for herself about it, but Carly’s shattered family image won’t all be on Nina’s shoulders.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had a steady hand in keeping Nina’s dirty little secret from the people he loves. Finding out that her firstborn son betrayed her in this way is going to sting — even if she understands his motives in doing so.
At the same time, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) may not be so understanding.
GH Spoilers Tease Carly’s World is Falling Apart, Too
Nina may be focused on numero uno as the truth comes out, but no one else will be. She may become a target for more revenge if Carly can’t help wanting to strike back, but more or less, no one is going to want Nina in their orbit for a while.
That might put a pin in the living situation between the new Mr. and Mrs. Sonny could kick Nina to the curb, but she might also willingly hop over to Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) place to stay out of dodge while he tries to piece his family back together.
All the while, Carly will relish Sonny’s newfound willingness to take her side instead of Nina’s. It’s about time!
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Lends His Support
Nina won’t have much luck arguing her position with Sonny. He’ll have more important people to worry about in the fallout of his marriage, and he’ll have the privilege of knowing Nina will be there whenever he’s ready to deal with her.
First and foremost, he needs to ensure his family doesn’t fall apart all over again because of Nina’s antics and lies — and he needs to be on the right side of them.
