General Hospital Spoilers: Will Sam and Spinelli’s Meddling Investigation Unearth Secrets That Keep Jason Bound to the FBI?
General Hospital spoilers claim Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is bent on helping her ex, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), get out of whatever trouble he’s in with the FBI.
It must be bad if they’re twisting his arm enough to get him to act as an informant for them — or so Sam has assumed. Roping Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) into a scheme to hack the FBI database and figure out what the FBI has they’re holding over Jason’s head as leverage in hopes of setting him free from those chains, Spinelli could unearth information that will only irritate and infuriate Sam.
How is she going to feel upon learning that Jason opted to stay away from his family all of this time just to protect Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)?
General Hospital Spoilers — Sam Should Know Better
It hasn’t been that long since Sam was Jason’s wife — and they were together for quite a long time prior to that. She should know him well enough to know that he would be more likely to put himself at risk this way and give up years of his life only for someone he loves deeply. Jason is forever a martyr.
He’s never going to put his loved ones in harm’s way because of his own behavior. If the FBI had something on him, he would get Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) on the case and fight it tooth and nail — even risking going to prison. It only makes logical sense that Jason has to be protecting someone else, and it’s a little surprising that we’re all pretending Sam hasn’t tried to guess who that someone else is.
GH Spoilers Leak Spinelli Could Botch This
Spinelli is already in over his head and he knows it. He is nervous to even engage in this scheme with Sam to help Jason — especially since Stone Cold hasn’t exactly asked for their help and probably wants them nowhere near whatever is going on.
But Spinelli is faithful to his Dear Samantha and he’s going to see her through this, knowing she would likely pursue it on her own and risk of danger befalling her if he doesn’t have her back in the matter.
That being said, Spinelli’s nerves could get the best of him in this situation. If he makes one wrong move and alerts the FBI to what they’re up to, Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) may get the impression that Jason squealed and sent Sam and Spinelli on this treasure hunt — which would break the terms of their agreement and give him full leeway to go after Carly. Oops!
General Hospital Spoilers — So Close
Rumor has it Carly will be more stunned than anyone that she is the reason Jason had to stay away for all this time and give up his life to protect her. Jason is right though.
It’s unlikely Carly will continue letting him go to bat for her, and she may even turn herself in. Sam, on the other hand, is likely to be furious that Jason abandoned his son just to keep Carly — a grown woman responsible for her own poor decisions — safe.
Of course, if the truth comes out, then Jagger won’t have anything else to hold over Jason’s head and he’ll be a free man. Is that really how this plays out? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see.
