General Hospital Spoilers: Will Dr. Hamilton Finn Return To Port Charles?
General Hospital spoilers indicate that there have been several casting shake-ups this year on the soap. Back in June, Michael Easton was let go from the role of Dr. Hamilton Finn.
Finn’s exit storyline began when he started drinking after the death of his father Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). Finn is an addict and soon he couldn’t stop drinking.
Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) caught Finn with another woman and dumped him on the spot. Eventually, friends and family convinced him to go to rehab for at least 90 days.
General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn said goodbye to Violet Finn
Finn said goodbye to his young daughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), and he left for rehab with his brother Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Although Chase dropped Finn off, he didn’t actually stick around to see if Finn entered the rehab center, although it’s presumed that he did.
Chase recently mentioned that Finn still had a month to go before he could leave rehab, so it sounds as if Finn and Chase have had some sort of contact although that’s not confirmed. Either way, Finn is scheduled to return home.
GH Spoilers – What will happen to Hamilton Finn
It seems unlikely the show would go to all the trouble of writing Finn out only to bring him back so quickly. But if Finn’s not coming back there will have to be some sort of explanation for why he isn’t onscreen.
Most likely, Finn will decide to rejoin Doctors Without Borders and will pick up Violet off-screen to accompany him. Or perhaps he will ask Chase to watch over her while he settles overseas. Unfortunately, it’s just as likely that Finn will meet some sort of grisly fate.
General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn could die
If for some reason Finn didn’t actually enter rehab, it’s possible he’s been drinking or worse this whole time and could up overdosing or meeting some other deadly fate.
Another possibility is that he is involved in some sort of accident on his way home from rehab, perhaps tying in with the rumored death of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) as well.
While it’s possible Michael Easton will come back to the role, there hasn’t been any type of announcement from the show, so it seems unlikely.
