General Hospital Spoilers: Will Cyrus’ Involvement in the Floating Rib Explosion Blow Back on Him as Homicide If Lulu Dies?
General Hospital Spoilers say Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has yet to meet his nephew, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), but there’s still time for that and we trust that it’s coming.
A few years back, Cyrus ordered Julian Jerome (William deVry) to plant a bomb at the Floating Rib. The explosion injured many and even killed Lulu Falconeri’s (Alexa Havins) then-boyfriend, Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson).
Lulu sustained injuries that have left her in a coma ever since, and now her liver is failing. Although there is new hope on the horizon that she can be saved, there are no guarantees. With her life hanging in the balance, we have to wonder what might happen to Cyprus if Lulu does die.
General Hospital Spoilers — What If Lulu Doesn’t Survive?
Julian will never be held accountable for the explosion that night three years ago. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will never have that kind of justice after the loss of their prized establishment. But Cyrus has remained free from prison for a couple of years now due to his allegedly declining health.
From where we sit, it seems he’s in better shape than his niece and primary victim — Lulu. Should Lulu die, the fans are wondering whether Cyrus can be tried all over again for her murder.
GH Spoilers Suggest Cyrus Could Go Down for Murder
In the world of soaps, which has few rules, new evidence and outcomes could dictate that Cyrus will once again be on trial. Being that he was already released on parole from prison partially in response to good behavior and partially because of his health, it stands to reason that such could weigh into any judge or jury’s decision to keep him on the outside of Pentonville’s bars.
That being said, if Lulu pays the ultimate price, it’ll be up to the judicial system to decide whether she perished because of his act, or because of extenuating circumstances that deteriorated her health over the years.
General Hospital Spoilers — Lucky Will Lead That Charge
We can expect that one person in particular will be at the helm when push comes to shove. Lucky is all about accountability — for pretty much everyone but himself. He wants to see someone pay for what has happened to his little sister, and her death is certain to send him off the rails.
Will he lead the charge in having Cyrus convicted? Will the PCPD entertain his pleas even if Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) thinks it’s a waste of time and energy to go after Cyrus instead of dealing with their grief in the wake of Lulu’s death? A new family rift may be in the works.
[…] Fans have loved watching Jophielle Love in this role and are sad to see her go, but as Finn was written out of storylines in the summer and Michael Easton has officially exited the soap, it looks like her last days in Port Charles will take place this week. […]
