General Hospital Spoilers: Will Carly’s Trips to Wyndemere Be Her Last?
General Hospital spoilers suggest Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) made her way to Wyndemere on Tuesday to snoop around the wine cellar, but her odds of getting there may not be the slam dunk she was hoping for.
While Carly has been known to turn on the charm to get what she wants, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is a different kind of target.
Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) isn’t going to take kindly to Carly barging in — despite Sidwell’s invite — and apologizing to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). She might be able to pull the wool over her baby brother’s eyes, but duping Marco is another story.
Of course, he’ll have to play dumb to keep his beau happy, but what really matters is where Sidwell stands. Will Carly be able to woo him away from Marco’s warning?
Carly’s Charms Could Fail Her
In the past, Carly has been pretty used to getting her way — especially where men are concerned. She knows when to stroke an ego and how to bat her eyelashes accordingly.
But those tricks of the trade may not work as well on a guy like Sidwell, especially given his history. Let’s examine the evidence.
Since he came to Port Charles, we learned of his contentious relationship with his late ex-wife, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) — and it painted him as something of a monster.
We’ve seen him string Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) along for more than a year now; her wiles haven’t worked on him. Moreover, even Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been working on the guy, but he hasn’t taken things an inch further than buying art from a dealer.
Flirtation aside, Sidwell seems to be too busy to meddle with women. He’s got his eyes on a bigger prize. So if Carly’s plan is to flirt her way into that wine cellar, she might as well go home.
GH Spoilers Gossip Jenz is Certain to Know About Jack
There is little to no chance that Sidwell isn’t aware of Carly’s current couplehood with WSB Chief Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
If he isn’t, Marco is sure to make him aware of it. There is no telling how close to that wine cellar they may have been housing Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but there won’t be any trace of her there now.
Still, what presents as a window-less college dorm in the basement of Wyndemere would stand out as odd, and could fit the story that Anna gave to Mac and Felicia Scorpio (John J. York, Kristina Wagner).
Nevertheless, will Sidwell risk letting Carly get too close just to feel her out and determine if she’s sniffing around on Jack’s part. If so, we can just about guess who he’ll run to.
Carly, Meet Cullum
My my what a tangled web that is being woven at Wyndemere. Carly has no idea that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) was just on Spoon Island playing chess with WSB Agent Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and chasing the ghost of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
Having multiple people in the mix, but in silos where they aren’t sharing information with each other, is likely to hinder progress here. But the truth could come tumbling out if Carly makes headway and takes the dirt she unearths to not Jack but Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Carly and Cullum have already had one challenging interaction, upon which Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) insisted the guy was lying about Anna.
Will Carly be the one to connect the dots that Cullum is somehow involved with Sidwell? If she does, will she get out alive? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
