General Hospital Spoilers: Will Brad Fix the Lab Results to Finesse Lucas’ Fault in Sam’s Surgery?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is keen on worming his way back into Dr. Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) life, and he may be willing to break a lot of rules to make it happen.
So far, Lucas has been pretty strict about keeping up the boundary wall between them, but Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death has really thrown him for a loop.
Brad is familiar territory and it’s comfortable to confide in and lean on him, and that may come in handy as the lab tech seeks to prove his loyalty to his ex-husband. But will he clue Lucas in on just how far he will go to safeguard his future at GH, or will he keep that tidbit to himself?
General Hospital Spoilers — The Fix is In
Brad seems to feel compassion for his ex. He doesn’t want to see Lucas take the fall for Sam’s death — even if he’s actually responsible for it.
Convinced he’s not, Brad may be stunned when the autopsy report comes back showing that a surgical error could have been the reason Sam went into cardiac arrest in recovery and died.
Breaking that news to Lucas won’t be easy, and Brad may think the solution is to alter the autopsy report so that no one — including Lucas — ever has to know.
GH Spoilers Hint He May Be Genuine
Brad’s intentions may be good. His heart may be in the right place. However, we also have to question whether he’s just going out of his way to make Lucas feel indebted to him.
That will hinge on whether or not Lucas ever learns the truth. If he doesn’t intend to tell him, then Lucas would have no reason to feel he owes Brad anything.
However, Brad could fudge the autopsy results just to let Lucas breathe a sigh of relief hearing it wasn’t his fault. Then he may later clue him in to what he did for him so that he could keep his job at GH and career in medicine.
Will that blow back in his face though?
General Hospital Spoilers — Lucas Won’t Care About Brad’s Intentions
Lucas is all about being honest. Even if the truth hurts, he wants to hear it. Brad should have learned that lesson already when he replaced their child with another baby and went on to pretend it was the child they adopted all for the sake of not breaking Lucas’ heart.
Brad had done nothing wrong when Jonah succumbed to SIDS, but he covered it up as though it was a crime. Lucas never really forgave him for making that decision for him.
Shouldn’t he know better now? If Lucas finds out Brad fudged the autopsy results without his knowledge or consent, it’s hard to say how he’ll handle it.
Will he come clean to Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), or will he feel obligated to express gratitude to Brad and even let him back into his life?
