General Hospital Spoilers: Will Alexis Come to Regret Asking Scout to Keep Secrets From Drew?
General Hospital spoilers claim Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has been in hot water with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for months. Drew has bent her into a pretzel forcing her to represent Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) and expecting the impossible from her in doing such at times.
Willow’s good deed over Christmas may not go unpunished, though it’s unlikely Drew will hold her accountable for convincing him to let Emily ‘Scout’ Cain (Cosette Abinante) go visit Alexis, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), and Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
But Alexis knew the only rule was that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) couldn’t be there, and yet he showed up and Alexis not only let him linger, but asked Scout — a child — to keep this truth from her father. It’s only a matter of time before the truth leaks out.
A Ticking Time Bomb
It shouldn’t take long for Drew to find out that Alexis went behind his back and betrayed him — and then coaxed his young daughter into being complicit in the lie.
Drew might be well aware that Danny isn’t really a danger to his little sister, but he’s enjoying sticking it to him and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) nonetheless.
Amidst that one-sided war Drew is waging, Alexis is catching shrapnel alongside Scout. Now that Scout has already spilled the beans to Willow, it’s likely the truth could get back to Drew, even if it’s not from his new wife.
GH Spoilers Tease What’s Wrong is Wrong
Regardless of how much I don’t like the way Drew is treating Scout or any of the people she loves, it still wasn’t on the up and up for Alexis to ask her granddaughter to hide something from her father.
It was even worse the way that she explained keeping Danny’s visit a secret would ensure that Danny didn’t get in trouble and Drew didn’t get angry.
Reinforcing a young child’s desire to not upset their parent by leading them to break the rules and do something that is far from family-building and oftentimes dangerous wasn’t the wisest grown-up way to deal with this.
What Will Drew Do?
When he does find out, what will Drew do in retaliation for Alexis leading Scout astray? We can be almost certain that the first step he’ll take is letting her know she’s not going to see her granddaughter anymore.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he files for another restraining order either. This time around, Alexis has actually given Drew ammunition to use against her — and Kristina and Molly, who were both present for Danny’s visit. It’s turbulent waters ahead for this family.
