General Hospital Spoilers: Who Will Find Valentin and Charlotte First — Anna, Sonny, or Someone Else?
General Hospital spoilers report PCPD Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is worried sick that the clock is ticking against her every passing minute as she tries to track down her lover, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
While Anna wasn’t really lying when she said she’s concerned that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might take Valentin out in Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) presence, it’s not the only concern she has.
Obviously, she doesn’t want any harm to come to a hair on Valentin’s head. But will she compromise with Sonny and allow herself to be used as bait to draw him back home and into the danger zone?
General Hospital Spoilers — Anna Knows Valentin Best
Anna isn’t likely to cooperate with Sonny’s plan to use her as leverage to get Valentin to come home on his own. Still, it’s a better plan than trying to track him down. It’s not likely that he’s going to be very easy to locate.
Sonny knows that, and so does Anna. So she may not have much room to balk and tell Sonny she will handle this on her own and find him.
That being said, getting her to cooperate against her will may not be simple and clean-cut either. Sonny could be forced to threaten to expose her involvement in Valentin getting away if she won’t help them get him back. But will she throw up smoke signals to Valentin that throws the whole plan off course?
GH Spoilers Suggest Sonny Has Resources
Anna knows very well how this could work out in Sonny’s favor if he’s given any advanced notice of Valentin being the culprit behind the tampering with his meds, which of course, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has given him already.
Not only does Sonny have a near-bottomless piggy bank to pull from, but he’s got people all over the world willing to do his dirty work — and he’s allowed to bend the rules.
That’s one thing Anna can’t really get away with — even less so now that she’s with the PCPD and not the WSB. Will Sonny track Valentin down and put an end to him before Anna can say goodbye?
General Hospital Spoilers — The Mayor Has Clout
To be honest, the bulk of Mayor Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) influence and power over the years has not been over other people — unless you count how ashamed she can make people feel because most seek her approval.
The Mother Theresa of Port Charles, Laura doesn’t wield that power lightly. But this time around, she may be able to move the needle in sniffing Valentin out — even if Anna and FBI Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) won’t help her get to the bottom of his whereabouts.
