General Hospital Spoilers: Who Alters Portia’s DNA Test—There are Plenty of Suspects!
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that eager Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) wants to have a baby with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). She’s pregnant but has no idea if he or Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is the dad.
Which means that it’s time to cue the classic soap paternity test switch storyline! Here’s a look ahead to what Isaiah may be tempted to do as a GH doctor with access to patient files.
Curtis is with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) now, and Isaiah wants it to stay that way. Is he willing to fudge test results to show that he is Portia’s baby daddy?
Portia’s Pregnancy Revealed by Jordan
Portia wanted to wait to determine the baby’s paternity but snoopy Jordan inserted herself into the equation and revealed to Curtis that his ex is pregnant.
Neither one of them know about Isaiah so there’s that. However, with Jordan’s nosiness, she will probably discover and blurt out the secret to Curtis. Come to think of it, why isn’t she spying on Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) instead of private citizens?
Do You Ship Portia and Curtis?
Isaiah found out Portia is pregnant after she collapsed at GH last week. Portia previously lied to Curtis about his daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), letting Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) think he was the dad.

Fans are accustomed to soap paternity tests being altered–do you think that will happen in Portia’s case? It seems likely given the nature of the secret and that both Portia and Isaiah work at GH.

But Jordan also has reason to alter the test since she wants to be with Curtis.

Trina could also act with malice to alter the results. She wants her parents together and could access the GH files with the help of WSB superstar Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
And then there’s the would-be mom herself, Portia. Portia must have a preference for who her baby daddy is … tell us who you think she wants to co-parent with, and if you think she will fudge the DNA test!

Well, Brad’s back, so he’ll have to somehow be involved, won’t he?
I have an idea! How’s about dropping all the ridiculous “baby mama drama”, “dna switch”, spy vs. spy and GET BACK TO BASICS! Bring back the OLD and LOVED General Hospital. I think the worst situation they dealt with was a broken fingernail (j/k). Whatever the GH drama was, it was handled with class and loving care! You writers are making villains out of good characters, and the storylines ARE WAYYYYYY TOO LONNNNNNG! It shouldn’t take almost a year to put an end to a storyline! I’ve watched since 1964 and actually CRINGE when GH comes on everyday. However, I am a loyal fan, and will not stop watching due to the writers being dumb@$$e$!
I don’t see whereby the test has to be altered in anyway. Viewers have been there and done that with Portia and it isn’t necessary to rinse and rewash.

Oh come on, another altered paternity test story line for the next 3 years is just the height of laziness for these writers. Get an imagination or get better writers. Sometimes writing real life stories will hold the audience’s attention much longer the a continual rewrite of old boring stories. How the hell many times are we going to have to see this same thing on GH?
