General Hospital Spoilers Weekly Spoilers: Struggles, Secrets, And Scrambling
General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of July 25 and August 1 tease struggles, secrets, and maybe a last minute save for someone ahead on GH. Bear in mind that because of pre-emptions and reschedules, some of these scenes originally scheduled for the week of July 25 will play out the week of August 1.
General Hospital Spoilers: Struggles For Elizabeth Baldwin
There will be struggles for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) as she tries to rebuild her life after checking herself out of Shadybrook; perhaps she checked herself out too soon. After some false starts, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) finally cleared her to return to work. Elizabeth wants to get back in the groove at work and pretend her obvious childhood traumas aren’t there, but soon those same demons will haunt her again.
Something strange will happen when Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) checks on Elizabeth at work, and it will be totally unexpected. But it will likely show that Elizabeth isn’t as ready or as healed as she thought on her first day back.
GH Spoilers: Willow Tait’s Truth, Tensions With Sasha Gilmore
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will be nervous as she waits on the results of her medical tests ordered by Dr. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). She’ll share a few warm minutes with friend Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) but they’ll soon experience tensions between them when Sasha already knows about Willow’s blessed event. Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be surprised to find Sasha knows, having heard Nurse Deanna Sirtis (Dioni Michelle Collins) on the phone. Sasha may also admit hearing Deanna was part of the reason she broke down at her Home and Heart appearance; then things will become tense between them. Either Sasha’s comment will come out the wrong way, possibly in a blaming manner, or Michael and Willow might take it the wrong way.
General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Heller’s Con Games
Also, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and his con games with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will continue, as he makes deeper inroads into Sonny’s inner circle. Sonny will be so impressed he’s considering making Dex his replacement for enforcer Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). But Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will have his doubts about Dex’ s being who he says he is and he’ll run a deep dive background check.
Michael, who planted Dex into Sonny’s path to begin with will advise Dex how to get even closer to Sonny. But Dex himself might start feeling closer with Sonny and deal with some guilt over his deceptions.
GH Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine Scrambles
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will scramble to keep his and Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) night of lust a secret when he rushes over to the Port Charles Courthouse. Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) calls a surprise witness at Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial, and it could be Esmé on cross examination. She will also call Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) to the stand, who while he won’t give Trina an alibi he won’t give Esmé one either, and Diane can use that. Spencer will keep up the pressure on Esmé to confess she framed Trina, and he’ll make a big decision as well. She’ll try to get out of Dodge, but Ava Cassadine (Maura West) will head her off at the pass.
General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Bell Gets Some Help
Last but not least, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will get some unexpected help in his quest to impress so-not-having-it Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) into trying another date with him. The last time, he got baptized with wine and called a failed cowboy Cassanova, not to mention Dr. Britt calling the time of death on the date. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) takes on the challenge of turning ugly duckling Cody into a sexy and suave male swan, much to Britt’s consternation.
