General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will suspect each other in Ava Cassadine’s (Maura West) attack. They will interrogate each other in upcoming episodes, showing Cassadine family distrust and dysfunction.
General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Drunk
Spencer was angry, hurt and drunk the night that Ava was attacked; he had overheard Ava’s argument with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). He walked in just as she was yelling about Nikolas sleeping with Spencer’s former girlfriend, Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Spencer was stunned, and at first accused Ava of lying and asked his father to confirm; he didn’t want to believe his father would betray him in that way.
Unfortunately, Nikolas had to confirm to his son that Ava was telling the truth, a truth that was never meant to come out. Spencer started drinking beer after beer, and Nikolas tried to stop him, but he ran off as Victor arrived.
GH Spoilers: Does He Remember Anything?
A preview shows Victor questioning a bleary eyed Spencer and asking him if he remembers anything, and Spencer soon finds out Ava was brutally attacked. Victor continues to interrogate Spencer about the attack, knowing that Spencer despised Ava. Spencer had a grudge since childhood against her, when she broke her promise to help him get the Cassadine fortune back from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Instead, she’d had plastic surgery at a clinic overseas, which also led to the rescue of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) after his first presumed death. She had hoped Patient Six would have turned out to be Nikolas, but he didn’t show up until a few years later.
General Hospital Spoilers: Mutual Suspicions
But when Spencer wakes up a little more from his hangover, he is just as suspicious that Victor attacked Ava as Victor is of him. He knows Victor could have tried to silence Ava as past warnings from his grandmother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) start to sink in, although he didn’t want to believe it before. Both of the Cassadines have mutual suspicions that the other tried to off Ava, and both think the other had motive to do so; and no one is surprised.
It will not be surprising if Nikolas also is suspected by both his great uncle and his son, as he had plenty of motive as well. Nikolas may suspect both Victor and Spencer before it’s over, but so far it’s just Victor and Spencer suspecting each other.

Regardless of Spencer's resentment for Ava, don't feel he would go to such extremes unless his persona too is being changed. Not sure if Esme is the culprit either at this point. All of the suspects could have a reason for the attack, but don't feel it is either of them.
Don't think one eye outta that Spencer had anything with was done to Ava...
Actually my bet is Victor but I wouldn't put it past Esme to do that too. Nicholas wouldn't do it and I'm pretty sure that Spencer was 2 sheets to the wind.
