General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Set Lucy Up, and She’s About to Marty Helped
General Hospital Spoilers reveal Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) may have been in cahoots with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) for far longer than anyone was aware.
It seems that Tracy came into enough information about Marty’s past that she was able to leverage what she knew and use it against him for her own selfish gains.
What she wants still remains to be seen, despite Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) strong interest in figuring out her granny’s motives.
When Lucy learns the truth about Marty’s connection to Tracy, it may sever all plans for a future together.
General Hospital Spoilers — That Wasn’t Alimony
When Lucy marched into the pool at the Metro Court and let Marty have it, he was surprised by the drink in his face but also seemingly relieved. Lucy might have figured out he was receiving a monthly stipend from a hotshot attorney in Pine Valley, Jackson ‘Jack’ Montgomery (Walt Willey), but that’s where her theories run off-track.
Marty is just fine with Lucy believing he’s received $50K a month in alimony from his third ex-wife, because he doesn’t want her to know the truth — that he’s being paid for his contributions to creating the concept of The Deceptor.
GH Spoilers Hint Tracy is Suing Deception
It was revealed in court this week that it is Tracy who has launched a lawsuit against Deception, alleging that they stole her idea when they manufactured and marketed their latest beauty tool, The Deceptor.
Of course, Tracy may not have had access to plans for the tool early on, but that’s where Brook Lynn’s game of espionage came in.
It’ll be hard to prove she didn’t have them already and only came into them later as long as Brook Lynn is out to save herself from persecution and keeps her lips zipped.
If Tracy has Marty right where she wants him and aims to exploit his connection to the real mastermind of The Deceptor — his infamous ex-wife — then she just might be able to pull this off and get what she wants from Marty at ELQ at the same time.
General Hospital Spoilers — Marty Loses All?
While everyone now knows it is Tracy who is suing Deception, no one has linked Tracy to Marty just yet.
But rumor has it Marty is well aware of what Tracy has up her sleeve and he feels powerless to stop it because he has been keeping so many secrets from Lucy for so long.
If he feels that he would lose her either way, it’s likely that Marty will continue to ride this train until the wheels fall off.
As for Lucy, when she learns that Marty is being extorted by Tracy, she just might think he is getting what he deserves. Is he?
It makes no sense that Marty is being paid for his contributions to creating the concept of The Deceptor. If that’s true, why would he give the idea to Lucy???
