Timely Takedowns
Last week, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reached out to Stella for assistance in his scheme to sabotage Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) in Washington, DC.
Stella agreed to help, and now she has some exciting news—she believes they’ve found a way for Curtis to bring Drew down! She revealed that she has a close connection with a powerful figure in DC who could serve as a formidable adversary.
It seems Stella has successfully enlisted her friend’s help in orchestrating Drew’s downfall. With all the elements of a juicy scandal surrounding Drew’s recent behavior, it looks like they’re on the verge of something big!
Romantic Rescues
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is perched on a high stepstool, diligently working on a piece of art that’s mounted on a wall well above her reach.
The risk of a serious fall looms over her as she suddenly turns, gasping in surprise as she begins to wobble-fortunately, Kai spots her and rushes in to help!
Standing tall, he’s able to reach her just in time, and their eyes lock in a moment that feels charged with new possibilities. Trina seems to be forging a profound emotional bond with her savior, signaling the start of her journey away from Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). It’s about time for Trina to move on from her past and embrace the chance for new love.
Fakey Frame-Ups
Following Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) mysterious disappearance, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) begins to suspect that Jason might be responsible, despite her attempts to prevent just that.
She summons him to the police station for questioning. Renault had managed to escape after attacking Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) with a syringe filled with digitalis, leaving Lucky in a precarious situation, but fortunately, he will survive.
While Jason is at the PCPD, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) starts to think he might be the target of a setup. Jason insists he’s innocent and Diane probes him about who might want to frame him, might he think Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) or Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could be potential suspects?
Guilty Guilt Trips
Josslyn is grappling with intense guilt after learning that Jason has been arrested, despite the fact that she killed Cyrus in self-defense and allowed Brennan to handle the aftermath.
Overwhelmed with emotion, she confides in Anna at the PCPD, insisting that Jason is innocent. Anna, ever the astute investigator, picks up on Josslyn’s certainty and questions her about it, especially since Josslyn had been consumed by rage following Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) murder.
The big question looms: will Josslyn finally break down and reveal the truth to Anna? If she hopes to avoid being labeled a vigilante, she’ll need to come clean about everything, including Brennan’s involvement.
