In all fairness, the new Commish let him down gently, but Chase isn’t taking it that easy that he is back to being a beat cop — even if it is his own fault. To Chase, it feels like he got a tough break.
While he knows he may have been out of line, he also felt like the PCPD was operating unethically, and the entire place went without accountability or repercussion while Chase got demoted.
Things just haven’t been going his way for a while now, and it’s got me wondering if we’re going to see Chase spiral into someone we don’t recognize anymore.
General Hospital Spoilers — Demoralized and in the Doldrums
Chase hasn’t been himself in recent months. While he started out on cloud nine marrying Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), it’s been nothing but setbacks ever since.
He seems to be committed to his wife, but that hasn’t stopped him from trying to avenge his ex-wife’s honor either. Losing his father was brutal, and his big brother coming apart at the seams on the heels of their dad’s death came as a crushing blow.
But Chase kept it together, as he always does. Finding out he couldn’t father children devastated him, but the support his new family carried him through.
Now, getting knocked down a peg at work has decimated his pride and made going to work every day feel less than what it used to. Who could blame the guy for looking so defeated?
GH Spoilers Claim Chase Could Rebound From This
Sure, he’s had a rough go of things but there’s plenty of time for Chase to turn this around. Besides, he’s got fatherhood to look forward to. Brook Lynn is ready to move forward with adoption, full steam ahead.
Chase is on the same page, but it seems like his day to day decisions aren’t exactly in line with the plans they agreed on.
While he may not think his increasing transgressions are that big of a deal, Brook Lynn has disagreed, and some fans are starting to worry a much bigger argument is waiting in the wings for this couple. Will Brook Lynn be able to make him see the light? Perhaps, but it could take an ultimatum — get on board, or get out?
General Hospital Spoilers — A Discouraging Leak Remains
A reliable leaker piped up a few weeks ago claiming that Chase isn’t going to survive much longer. While it’s possible that this will be chalked up to nothing but gossip in a few more weeks, there have been numerous reports from this leaker in the past that have panned out to be true — more than those which have not.
