General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) were enjoying themselves on Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) patio during a family gathering.
Talk turned to dancing and all at once they felt a spark. They quicky disengaged after feeling butterflies in their stomachs.

Stella rushed back inside but later they gave each other a glance that seemed to scream ‘wth was that?!’ If this story has legs, and we’re pretty sure it does, Stella and Marshal could be about to change up the nature of their relationship.
Frankly, lots of fans have been wondering what took so long to put these fun, warm, gracious characters together!
But the elephant in the room, if Starshall do grow closer, is how their loved ones will react. This could be a delicate pairing seeing as how Marshall is Curtis’ dad and Stella is his late mom’s sister. Awkward.
GH Spoilers: How Will Curtis React?
It’s likely that the younger, more open-minded set like Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) would feel positive about the mature couple’s happiness.
There’s no reason for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to be against the relationship, but what about Curtis?
Curtis was extremely close to his mom and if he felt that Marshall and Stella were dishonoring his memory in any way there’s no way he would give them his blessing. But if they persist, it could get ugly for the little family.
General Hospital Spoilers: Starshell’s Potential?
The late Irene Ashford (Cheryl Francis Harrington) still speaks to her son and he has fond memories of her. It might be jarring to see another woman, especially Stella, moving on with Marshall.
If Curtis forbids the involvement what comes next? These are two grown people who aren’t hurting anyone with their happiness. It would also be interesting if Curtis were against Starshall after he’s been on Portia for not accepting Trina and Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) relationship.
