General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Prince Is Getting Feelings For Spencer Cassadine

Esme told Spencer’s grandmother-and her aunt by marriage-Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that one big reason she thinks she and Ace should move out is her feelings.

Esme told Laura she’s getting feelings for Spencer and it would be best to put distance between them, although there’s no indication she would deny access to Ace.

Laura understood that and agreed, and even offered to help Esme with expenses-the plan is to move into one of the small apartments above Kelly’s.

But Spencer overheard their discussion and took Laura’s helping and approving of Esme’s plans as a betrayal!

After a fierce argument with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) in which she walked out on him in front of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) he makes demands.

GH Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Doesn’t Know About The Feelings Part

Obviously, Spencer doesn’t know about the feelings part in Esme’s decision, and she claimed she doesn’t want to get between him and Trina.

Esme came to Port Charles as Spencer’s girlfriend, and did a lot of bad things before he ultimately dumped her because he wanted Trina. But, as Trina reminded Spencer in no uncertain terms, Ace is his brother, not his son, and he has no legal standing to him.

When she forced him to choose between him and Ace, that’s when he said she wouldn’t like the answer and she saved him the trouble!

But Spencer is desperate not to abandon Ace like their father Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) abandoned the two of them-he’s wrongly equating Esme moving out with Ace to abandonment.

General Hospital Spoilers: How Far Is Spencer Cassadine Willing To Go?

The big question is, how far is Spencer actually willing to go-it seems like he’s made his choice as far as Trina is concerned.

If it takes reconciling with a willing Esme as his girlfriend in order to keep his access to Ace-which isn’t necessary-it looks like he’d do it! Trina would suspect that this has been Esme’s plan all along, in spite of seducing Nikolas with the baby a side effect.

Spencer’s going to have to choose between Trina and Ace but it’s no one’s fault but his own. But will he rebound from Trina to Esme, or pretend to, to keep full access to his baby brother?
