General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Delivers A Gift; Trina Finally Gets Her Doves?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will deliver a gift. Will Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) finally get the dove earrings Spencer wanted to give her since he was in Pentonville?
General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Accepted Cyrus Renault’s Gift
Spencer was given the pair of dove earrings by his other great-uncle, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) while they were in Pentonville Prison together. Cyrus was Spencer’s protector while he was there and had warned him that his great-great uncle, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was not to be trusted. At the time, Trina was still waiting on her own trial to commence, having been framed by Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) for revenge porn against her friends.
Victor swung a deal to get Spencer transferred to Spring Ridge, a much safer place than Pentonville and Spencer took the dove earrings with him. At the time, Trina was dating Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) and Spencer, after he was released saw them together, dove earrings in hand.
GH Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Was Angry
Frustrated and angry, Spencer threw the dove earrings down on a table and stomped away, but Victor, seeing what he’d done, picked them up and saved them. Spencer just received the earrings back in the box where Victor, after his death, had put a key to a safety deposit box full of faked evidence against Esmé. If Trina knew that Spencer pulled a sneaky Cassadine move and didn’t destroy the faked evidence but kept it, she’d probably throw the earrings down and stomp away! But now that he has the earrings back, he knows it’s time that he can finally give them to Trina, and plans an appropriate time to do so. It would probably be best not to tell her Cyrus gave them to him, considering she and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) were kidnapped by Cyrus on a long ago prom date!
General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Robinson Loves Doves
While in Pentonville with Cyrus, he and Spencer got to know each other a little better and Spencer must have talked about Trina loving doves. Spencer didn’t know Trina back then nearly as well as they know each other now but he knows she’ll love the dove earrings. Doves are a symbol of peace, and it’s a much more peaceful time right now than it has been for Trina and Spencer in a very long time.
Spencer hopes that the doves will be loved by Trina, as much as he loves her. They’ve not exactly said the words but they’ve certainly acted the act of love, growing even closer in Greenland-maybe now will be the time to say the words.
