General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Irrational Rant Get Dante’s Wheels Turning About Ava’s History with Medication Tampering
General Hospital Spoilers gush Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had an interesting argument last week, and Dante has been left with his father’s strong words lingering in every corner of his mind.
There was a marked difference in Sonny’s demeanor when his son stopped by for an impromptu visit at Pozzulo’s. Sonny was far from welcoming and even tried to kick the guy out like he was any old cop.
Reiterating that he doesn’t trust him and expects his son is reporting back to the PCPD about him, Sonny threw out several insults and assumptions that left Dante wondering who he was talking to and where all of the hostility came from.
As he sits with the remnants of their conversation, will the stars finally align and point someone in the direction of the truth — and how it links back to Ava Jerome (Maura West)?
General Hospital Spoilers — This Could Escalate Quickly
Dante may not realize it right now, but the time he or anyone has left to intervene and help Sonny understand what is happening to him is running thin.
It’s obvious that he wants to permanently silence Ava, and Dante couldn’t have been more clear that his dad shouldn’t do anything that could bring forth consequences for him. But Sonny is blinded by rage right now and wanting to do something about it to relieve himself of this anger and anxiety.
That means there is a good possibility that Sonny will make a much bigger mess by the time Dante figures out what is really going on with him.
GH Spoilers Leak Dante Lacks Control
Not being able to reel his father in — and knowing there isn’t anyone else around who truly cares about him to try to — Dante may start to feel rather desperate about how to fix this situation before it implodes, leaving shrapnel all over his family.
Even if Dante figures out Ava’s involvement, he’ll only be halfway to the truth — which really lies with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
To make matters worse, no amount of pressure or leverage on Ava will help because she has no idea who is tampering with Sonny’s meds. Is there any way for Dante to find out, or will he insist it’s Ava all over again?
General Hospital Spoilers — Will Sonny Listen to Round Two?
Dante was unsuccessful at getting his father to hear him out and absorb what he was really trying to say the first time. If it is his goal to try to prevent the don from taking Ava out, Sonny doesn’t want to hear it — that’s abundantly clear.
However, as Dante starts to realize something is amiss here and begins to connect the dots between Sonny’s behavior and Ava’s entry into his life, will he realize that this is all too familiar?
Is Sonny destined to be taken down the same way Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) was taken out when Ava swapped his meds? Could Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have been right about Sonny’s meds being the problem all along?
