General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Empire Won’t Crumble — But Nina Will Hate That Carly Saves the Day

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might think he’s in deep trouble when he is hauled away by the PCPD, but he still has someone in his corner that is going to fight tooth and nail to make sure his empire is secure. He’s had reservations about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) from the start, but he has also seen potential in Dex that he hasn’t in most of his associates over the years.

He has wanted so badly for Dex to man up and take an interest in the business, and he won’t see it coming when Dex is a part of the takedown. Sonny was being played the entire time. Sure, Dex lied about his involvement with Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), but Sonny thought everything else was on the up-and-up. Now, he’s going to be in lock-up and without a right-hand man. The person who shows up to save the day is the very last he would have expected.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) did a bang-up job picking Dex to infiltrate Sonny’s organization and take him down from the inside-out. It’s going to be a success, and the usual tricks Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has up her sleeve might not get Sonny out of it this time. He’ll have to get pretty creative from behind bars to maintain control of his territory when he’s so vulnerable to attack. Without someone like Jason Morgan (Steven Burton) on board to man the ship, is Sonny’s empire going to cease to exist?

GH Spoilers Tease Diane’s Magic Takes Time

Sonny has more money than most in Port Charles, and the judges in town know his reputation. He’s absolutely a flight risk and has the means to live out the rest of his life on an island as a recluse if he likes. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) might not mind that if it wasn’t for the fact that she just found out she has a daughter in Port Chuck. Diane will have to work harder than ever in hopes of finding a loophole that could dismiss some of the evidence stacked against Sonny — and it’s going to be more than anyone has brought before a judge before.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Keeps the Business Intact

While Diane is working her magic and Sonny is pacing his jail cell back and forth, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will be preparing to say goodbye to the life she thought she was going to have — at least for the time being. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly were preparing to take their relationship to the next level and go public with their love for one another, and rumor has it Drew might not be far off from popping the question.

But Sonny needs help keeping his criminal empire intact to protect his family — and Carly is the only person fit to help him. No one else will be accepted by the Five Families. It’s definitely going to make Nina’s blood boil to watch Carly rescue Sonny in a way she never could. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
