General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Targets Dex After Brick Digs Up Incriminating Information
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may have just placed a target on Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) back.
Michael recently instructed the young henchman to look into the mysterious shooter who has been targeting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
The mob boss believes it’s someone on the inside, so Dex is launching a “secret” investigation. As this creates an even larger risk for Heller, Michael wired some funds into his account.
Could this move end up biting Dex in the butt?
GH Spoilers: Brick Does Some Digging
GH spoilers for the week of February 12th note that Brick (Stephen A. Smith) has never trusted Dex and will do some digging; there’s a good chance that he’ll see that extra money in Heller’s account that Michael wired.
\As such, it’ll be natural for both Brick and Sonny to question these added funds in Heller’s account; it’ll certainly look suspicious. Especially with this money being dropped so soon after the entire Puerto Rico shoot-out.
Brick has wondered if Dex’s heroic act during the island affair was just a stunt to earn Sonny’s trust and loyalty. He believes Heller is shady, and a hefty amount of money being deposited into his account could support this theory.
How will Sonny react to all this information?
GH Spoilers: Sonny Is A Ticking Time Bomb
Sonny was clear that if Dex ended up being the traitor in his organization, he’d show no mercy. Fans can remember what happened to Heller during the “Hook” storyline when he was placed in a meat freezer on a hook as a torture method when Sonny suspected he may be disloyal, back then.
Sonny is under a tremendous amount of pressure right now. He’s still reeling from the betrayal of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and as he can’t exactly take it out on her, he’s more than eager to take it out on his enemies.
If Brick provides even the slightest evidence that Dex could be the person in his organization who is leaking insider information or working with someone, Sonny could go off the rails.
