General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be on his guard, when Brick (Stephen A. Smith) warns him of a new threat in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – A New Player Has Taken Over Cyrus Renault’s Old Territories
General Hospital viewers will recall that when Laura Collins (Genie Francis) came to the Corinthos compound to tell Sonny the sad news of Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death, she also updated him on what Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) told her. General Hospital viewers will remember that he had warned Laura that he hadn’t been the one who put the hit on her and their brother Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).
He had also mentioned that Laura needed to watch her back and had mentioned that someone had taken over his old drug territories, although he had a few contacts that kept him updated. Sonny should be more concerned than he has seemed recently about an enemy trying to hit him when he’s down – and he’s about as down as anyone can be, after marital trouble, drinking, and not renewing his lithium! But he obviously comes to his senses, because he pays attention when Brick contacts him about a new threat!
General Hospital Spoilers – To Believe Cyrus Renault, Or Not To Believe Cyrus Renault – That Is The Question
General Hospital viewers remember when Cyrus first appeared; he was still in prison and had a vast network of drug runners and henchmen even from behind bars, and Sonny doesn’t believe it’s any different in the prison he’s in now. Cyrus was a powerful man, and Sonny doesn’t believe for a minute he’s gotten religion in prison or that anything he claimed to Laura was legit; as the old saying goes, there are no atheists in foxholes! But now that Brick has picked up on a new mob leader in the west and northwest, Sonny will give some credence to Cyrus’ warnings, because Brick is warning of the same thing.
The question is, who would take over territories of someone as dangerous as Cyrus, and how will they strike – General Hospital viewers will recall back when Cyrus first struck, it was everywhere all at once! Cyrus had coordinated hits in three different places – one at the Corinthos coffee warehouse in Port Charles, one at another location on the docks, the other in Bensonhurst where Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny had taken his father.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Beefs Up The Security Several Places Where Family And Friends Are Vulnerable
General Hospital viewers can imagine that Sonny will talk to Brick about beefing up the security at several places where family and friends are vulnerable, one place of course being the Corinthos compound! General Hospital viewers may see Sonny living in his old penthouse and beefing up security there as well, and at Charlie’s Pub where his friend Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) and daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) work.
Sonny will also want extra security watching over the Metro Court and at the Quartermaine mansion and gatehouse where Michael Corinthos, (Chad Duell) Wiley Corinthos, (Viron Weaver) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) live. Anywhere and anyone where Sonny has a connection could be vulnerable, and Sonny will want to take no chances!

It is disappointing to see what they are turning Sonny into. He looks weak and wimpy and where have the intense and strong feelings of family gone? He would never have let a deceitful person like Nina hurt and cause damage the way she has to his family and friends. It’s a pretty pathetic Sonny that we have now.
It’s one thing for Sonny to be a kinder gentler version of himself when he first returns to P.C. But now he’s been back for a while and he’s a weak version of the real Sonny.
I’m not sure what these writers are trying to do with the characters. They are changing the personalities and characters of those that fans have loved for years, in some days decades. And unfortunately they aren’t changing them for the better.
Sonny better wat h his back he needs Brandon and Drew to help him . Sonny will go refill his meds and notify Carly about what Brick said.. Carly will move back home and also he needs Danta
