There’s been a lot of talk about the mob boss eliminating public enemy number one, but will Sonny succeed in this mission or fail miserably?

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that both Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) have encouraged Sonny to eliminate Sidwell in the recent past.
As Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) provided that nice piece of intel about Pascal (Marc Forget) ‘cleaning up’ after Sidwell shot Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard), Sonny may now have an “in” via Sidwell’s ‘butler’. There’s less of a chance of things going wrong with someone on the inside offering information and helping with the set-up of things.
Whether the idea is to blow up Wyndemere while Sidwell is on the premises or shoot the man, Sonny will concoct a scheme to get rid of Sidwell for good. But will he succeed?
Are Jenz Sidwell’s Days Numbered?
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that as much as the land of soaps needs heroes and heroines, they also need villains! The unique quality that Sidwell has is that as vile as he can be, he’s also quite entertaining with a splash of charm.
He’s quickly become an integral part of Port Charles and GH storylines, so an arc where Sonny aims to eliminate, but fails, might be the way the writing team goes with this one.
Sidwell is as vile as a villain to get. But the man is entertaining to watch on canvas and is charming as heck; the fact that he has zero remorse when it comes to offing people and ruining their lives is more than disturbing.
With that said, he’s public enemy number one in Port Charles, and while Laura and Sonny’s plan may work to get from under Sidwell’s thumb, there’s no way they’ll be able to eliminate him.
Whether Sonny schemes to shoot the man or cause a car explosion (something along those lines with the help of possibly Brick and Pascal), Sidwell may get injured, but he won’t die.
Soap operas always need heroes and heroines to save the day in storylines, but they also need villains and villainesses to be the reason things go wrong. Plus, shouldn’t WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) exit before Sidwell does?
