General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Dodges A Bullet This Time, But Will He The Next?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is riding a pretty high wave. His setup of nanny Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) worked like a charm. Little did he know that her boss was working for the feds; little did any fans know, either. While everyone in the mob boss’s circle was terrified about prison time, the Teflon don slipped off these charges, without much hassle.
But, will he be able to dodge a bullet the next time this happens?
GH Spoilers: The Asterisk Next To Sonny Corinthos’s Charges Being Dropped
GH spoilers hint trouble could be looming on the horizon. After all, while Judge Jarret (Matthew Kimbrough) dropped the charges on Sonny’s case, he noted that they had been “dismissed without prejudice, so they can be refiled at any time”; a piece of information that was not only relayed during Sonny’s hearing but also a post-baseball gathering between Chase Harrison (Josh Swickard), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), the next episode.
It’s interesting that this keeps getting repeated. Fans can’t help but wonder if Sonny isn’t out of the fire just yet.
GH Spoilers: That Missing USB File
It’s also hard not to forget about that damaged USB file, which had incriminating information on it. Michael hired Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to bring his dad down, and when he decided the plan was off, the henchman carelessly tossed the USB in the garage. Sure, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) seemingly destroyed it, but it likely could get easily fixed if GH writers needed a plot twist. This would especially change dynamics since Michael recently approached his dad to tell him that he’d truly dropped any animosity he had and that he loved him.
The moment was touching and emotional. It felt like these two characters with their complicated relationship had finally crossed over to a new chapter. Sonny said he would always love Michael and consider him his son; however, if he knew the lengths his “son” went through to send him to jail, would Corinthos have a change of heart?
