General Hospital spoilers and updates tease there will be a shocking end to Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) funeral. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make an impassioned plea to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
General Hospital Spoilers: A Make It Or Break It Moment
Sonny’s really been upset over the reign of terror that the Port Charles Hook has brought to town, and especially considering the victims so far have had a connection to him. No one is safe in Sonny’s circle, and in spite of the current situation between Sonny and Michael, his concern extends to him as well. He has put his henchmen and hired extra protection as well to make sure people he cares about are safe, even those who don’t necessarily care about him.
The grief swirling around the Corinthos and Corbin family is tremendous, and Sonny won’t be able to help but think about his late son Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). He raised Michael as his own son and he won’t want this hated situation to continue; he’d hate to think that he could easily lose Michael without making up.
GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Tries To Make Amends
Sonny will try to make amends with Michael, although he knows that it won’t be easy. Michael, his mother and his sister Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) were grievously hurt when Sonny took up with Nina Reeves, (Cynthia Watros) continuing what they started in Nixon Falls. The real straw that broke the camel’s back there, though, considering he had amnesia, was when he returned and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) walked in on them on the Haunted Star. He knew who he was then and had set up a romantic evening for Carly and was found in bed with Nina.
General Hospital Spoilers: Reminded Of What Matters
Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and the pain they’ll be in at the funeral will certainly remind Sonny of what really matters – family. He’ll hope that Michael will understand that too, and be willing to make up and stop the fight, especially knowing how precious life is. But chances are, even though Michael shows up mainly for his ex-fiancée Sasha and to support her, making up with Sonny is too big an ask and he’ll say no.
Unfortunately, the Hook will have claimed another victim the PCPD will find likely after Brando’s funeral, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may be even be called away from it to investigate. A body will be found so it will be too late to save this victim, making him or her the second death; will that change Michael’s heart?
