General Hospital spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) bought the Savoy a couple of years ago when he decided he wanted out of the PI business.
For a couple years, the Savoy became one of the hottest night spots in Port Charles. So much so that the establishment got the attention of mobster Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
Selina ended up worming her way into using the back room of the club for her illegal high-stakes poker games.
General Hospital Spoilers – Curtis Ashford lost the use of his left
Curtis was shot over a year ago and temporarily lost the use of his legs. While he recovered, his father Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) took over the day to day running of the club.
One of the first things he did was make sure that Selina and her games were removed from the club permanently. Selina wasn’t happy at all and even tried to but the Savoy herself.
But Curtis wouldn’t budge. He eventually regained the use of his legs but went to work for Aurora Media while Marshall continued to run the club.

But now Marshall has accepted to tour the country playing his clarinet. And with Curtis now the acting CEO of Aurora, he’s not going to have the time to run the club.
So, look for Curtis to make a difficult decision in the coming weeks. He will likely sell the club. It’s unlikely he would even consider letting Selina buy the club. That means she may have to hide any offer she makes behind someone else.
General Hospital Spoilers – Selina Wu wants to bring back her poker games
Selina has been quite clear that those poker games were quite profitable to her. If that means she has to buy the Savoy in secret to get access back to the club, then that’s exactly what she’s likely going to do.
Curtis won’t be happy if he’s duped by Selina, but if the sale is already complete there may not be anything he can do about it. Having that criminal element added to the already dangerous Port Charles will just make things even more deadly for it’s residents.
