General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnel Turner) asked Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to eliminate Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). He had buyer’s remorse but he could still be on the hook to Selina.
Selina is a fierce gangster and she is Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) aunt. The way she has treated him as chattel is an indication of how she views people in general—as pawns to be used.
Brad has been under her thumb before and hasn’t liked it one bit. Still, he has been persuaded to carry out her dirty work, and to facilitate her shady business because he simply had no choice.
If Selina needs something she can’t trust to a hired hand, she turns to Brad.
At this point we have to consider the million dollar question: does Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) have something that Ms. Wu wants?
Brad doesn’t know anything about Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) except for the little that Britt told him. Britt is back from the dead and back in PC, enmeshed in cold fusion experiments and who knows what else.
Over a dine and dash dinner, Britt told Brad about radioactive science, cold fusion, treaty violations, bombs and the kind of employers who don’t offer retirement plans.
So, if Selina wants to know more about Sidwell’s operation, all she has to do is get Brad to listen and learn via Britt.
When Curtis (Donnell Turner) arranged for Selina to kill Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) then changed his mind it wasn’t that cut and dry. Nothing is really over with mobsters.
Selina won’t treat Curtis reneging as a missed coffee date, she’s the kind of shark who keeps receipts. Remember that it was also Selina who gave handed Drew evidence against Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
So, if Selina kept proof of the Portia evidence, she has a bargaining chip with Curtis as well as the fact that he ordered a hit on a congressman.
