General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha Makes Herself a Target By Claiming Jason as Her Baby Daddy

General Hospital Spoilers report Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was quite confident when she told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) they had to let everyone believe he was the father of her baby.

Taken by complete shock and not at all happy about the lie that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) started about them, Sasha has been reacting defensively — and rightfully so.

But in the back of her mind, she started to realize that everyone would leave her alone about the paternity of her child if they thought they already knew it.

Jason posing as the baby’s father would get everyone off her back while safeguarding space in her life for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to return to it.

But will the image of being pregnant with Jason’s baby make her a target in Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) clear attack on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his associates?

Sidwell is Looking Forward

Despite Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) having pretty troubled past experiences with Sidwell, it doesn’t seem that he’s interested in bothering them anymore.

Rather, he has his sights set on Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) — who appears to be his ex-wife, and Sonny, and possibly anyone associated with him.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is a likely target given how he pulled one over on Sidwell on his own turf, plus he’s Sonny’s right-hand man, and he helped Sasha when she was held hostage due to her mother’s bad behavior.

If he thinks Sasha is carrying Jason’s child, will he be in search of a hostage situation, part deux?

Sasha Thought She Was Alone

A couple of months back, we saw Sasha enter a church alone and sit quietly as she prayed for clarity on her situation. She was pregnant with a married man’s child and didn’t know what to do.

Now, she may think the circumstances surrounding her situation might settle a bit, but she couldn’t be more wrong — especially if Sidwell overheard every detail of her prayers to God. Does he know that her baby is not Jason’s child, but Michael’s — making him or her Sonny’s grandchild?

What Lies Ahead?

It’s possible that Sidwell could take advantage of his insider intel and abscond with Sasha again, but it might not happen anytime soon. That’s because Sidwell clearly has other projects in the works, too.

He can’t show up and kidnap Sasha when he’s got deals to be made with Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Congressman Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).

Might he wait until closer to Sasha’s due date to put a target on her back and wait for the supposed father of her child to chase him down — again? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
