General Hospital Spoilers: Ric’s Loyalty Questioned – Ethan Thinks Sonny’s in Danger
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) is very suspicious of Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)! Ric claims to be Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bonded brother, but Ethan thinks he’s his big betrayer-so he continues to keep tailing Ric!
Ethan Is Excellent At Tailing And Reading People
In spite of all his times not escaping captors, Ethan is excellent at tailing people without being spotted; not only that, but he has an excellent sense of hearing.
Ethan can understand conversations from across the room and remember everything that’s said in great detail.
On top of that, he’s an excellent reader of body language-he can tell when someone’s telling the truth, and when they’re lying, and when they’re nervous or fearful as well.
So, not only is Ethan excellent at tailing people without being observed, he’s an expert at reading people as well-even though that skill’s let him down more than once in poker games! But once he saw Ric talking to Ava Jerome (Maura West) in the Metro Court, he knew he wasn’t to be trusted at all where Sonny is concerned.
Ethan Doesn’t Trust Ava Either, He’s Heard As Many Bad Things About Her As About Ric!
Ethan doesn’t trust Ava either, he’s heard as many bad things about her as about Ric, and he can’t imagine what the two are plotting together, but he intends to find out! He can’t safely get close enough to them to record a conversation, but he can read lips if he’s in an advantageous position.
Ethan’s main goal is not just to work for Sonny but to protect him as well, and knowing Ava’s tight with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is very suspicious-therefore, he’s concerned. Even though Ethan’s anxious to take down Sidwell because of what he did to his mother and sister, he won’t proceed until Sonny gives the go.
Ethan Delivers The Intel To Sonny He Requested, But Warns Him About Ric
Ethan delivers the intel to Sonny he requested, but warns him again about Ric-just because Ric seems to have changed, he might secretly be trying to take him down.
He’s not quite sure where Ava fits in, but he knows Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) nearly died because of falling through her Metro Court suite window.
As for Ric, Ethan passed Sonny’s test that Ric demanded, now it’s Ric’s turn to be tested-will he pass muster?
Ethan just can’t quite believe that Ric has changed that much towards Sonny after being basically enemies most of their lives, or at least since they found out about each other.
Until Ric proves to Ethan that he can be trusted, he’s going to be suspicious-and it’s just as true in reverse-Ric will remain suspicious of Ethan as well!
