Tragic Details About General Hospital Star Kirsten Storms And Her Bipolar Diagnosis
Days of Our Lives alum Brandon Barash, who also happens to be her ex-husband and the father of their child, Harper, just filed an emergency restraining order on the actress, according to TMZ this week.
The actor claims that Kirsten has had a very hard time finding stable housing these last few years. She was evicted from her most recent apartment in Tennessee and has spent a lot of time living in hotels or with friends.
Also, Brandon claims that Kirsten has been suffering from delusions and hallucinations and that she’s having money troubles, too. Her car is about to be repossessed and Brandon says that he loaned his ex-wife $5,000 which she is yet to pay back.
Brandon also says that Kirsten has been in constant fear for her life and says that she often feels as though people are following her. Also, she’s supposedly had hallucinations that have been so bad that she believes people are breaking into her home and taking stuff.

The actor also claims that Kirsten’s car is about to be repossessed and that he had to loan her $5,000, which she has never repaid. However, Kirsten has been employed with General Hospital this entire time, as she plays her character, Maxie Jones, who just happened to get out of a coma.
In 2022 and in an interview with Maurice Benard on his YouTube series State of Mind, Kisten did admit to being bipolar and dealing with a lot of anxiety in her life.
The actress stated, “I experience anxiety frequently. I have bipolar 1. I easily get frantic about things. I felt flustered, fear and stressed.
I am obsessed with being on time. I don’t know if you noticed, but I was exactly on time when I entered the building.”
Kirsten continued, “I obsessively worry about that kind of stuff. I have had panic attacks about that kind of stuff. My psychiatrist tried to change one of my medications at one point, and I had an adverse reaction to it.”
If that weren’t enough, Kirsten also said that it wasn’t until she started taking her bipolar medication that she began feeling better and that her life had also changed.
She continued, “I started on the bipolar medication and like within two weeks, and I am going to get emotional right now, my life literally just changed. “I felt like a normal person. It is a trip to wake up and want to make the bed in the morning, take a shower, get dressed, start your day, and not be consumed by all the things in your head.”
So far Kirsten Storms herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
