General Hospital spoilers report Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is spinning her wheels trying to figure out how she will keep Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at bay over the baby on board he is so elated about — yes, the one that he isn’t aware may not be his child.

But rumor has it Portia is going to be forced out into the light with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). Sharing the news of her affair will reveal that there is a question about the baby’s paternity, but we have a sneaking suspicion this may not happen until after Portia has figured out how to manipulate the paternity test results in favor of the man she wants to be the father of her baby.

This scandal is coming through like a reboot, and it’s making fans ask: Where in the world is Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), and could this be the storyline that brings him back to town?

Taggert’s Story Still Haunts Us

The last time we saw Taggert was in 2023, not too long after he had learned that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) wasn’t really his daughter. We thought GH might do a bit better job keeping Taggert and Trina tethered.

After all, that was her dad for the first twenty years of her life. Now that Portia is back in the paternity hot seat and expected to mess it up trying to manipulate the lives of everyone around her, fans are thinking Taggert may come back.

GH Spoilers Spill Trina is Circling the Wagons to Save Her Parents

Meanwhile, Trina is doing everything in her power — which isn’t much — to keep Portia and Curtis from divorcing. Learning there is a baby on the way only adds to the confusion because she won’t be able to fathom why they would call it quits at a time like this.

But Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) defense is going to call into question where Portia was on the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot, and that may require her to come clean about her timely romp with Isaiah.

If Curtis, Trina, or Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) sense that Portia was withholding this information to try to trick Curtis into raising a child that isn’t his, it may make other questions rise to the surface, such as: Are we really sure Trina is Curtis’ daughter?

But Does She Know Who Her Parents Really Are?

Some GH fans have been adamant ever since Curtis and Trina did a paternity test that Portia had it fixed somehow. It certainly would track, given her dabbling around in Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) medical records to keep her in prison, and the way she leveraged her power over Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) to get what she wanted.

Portia is as manipulative as they come, and she feels justified in lying to people if it’s going to protect her own agenda.

This time won’t be any different. Can Trina handle learning that her mother has not only been stepping out on yet another marriage, but is having a baby possibly with another man? Can she handle learning it wasn’t Curtis and Jordan who shattered their marriage, but Portia’s repeated betrayals of trust?
