General Hospital spoilers reveal a mother risking her own freedom and her career so that her daughter can be proven innocent and go free. But is what Portia decides to do the right thing for Trina and her case?
General Hospital Spoilers: Too Many People Helping Trina?
After months of nobody openly doing anything to help Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) prove that she never recorded Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (Will Lipton) having sex and releasing that video onto the Internet, now everyone is involved in their own way. This means too many things can go wrong.
Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) secret bid to get Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to confess in exchange for information about her mother’s identity backfired, with Esme then goig over the parapet in a catfight with Ava Jerome (Maura West). Now, Ava has Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) involved as he tries to jury tamper, which can seriously backfire.
And then there is Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who convinced TJ Ashford (Taja Bellow) to bring Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) out of his medically-induced coma before he was ready just so he can testify he sold a blackmarket phone to Esme. TJ may have been talked out of that, but it doesn’t mean Portia is not going to do it.
Portia Has To Defeat Jordan
Portia is ready to do whatever she has to in order to save her daughter and doesn’t go to prion for a crime she knows someone else committed and feels bringing Oz out of his coma is the only way — even if it might not work the way anyone wants and Oz dies from the trauma.
“This is a huge choice, but she doesn’t see any other option. Portia feels helpless. She feels she’s sinking,” Brook Kerr said in the August 16, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Everything she’s done in her life was to provide her daughter with the best possible life and this this trial can ruin it all.”
The problem is, just as Portia is about to do the deed, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) shows up with questions. Too bad Portia isn’t about to let Jordan stop her from doing what she has to do. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out.
Writers have already sent Curtis down the rabbit hole via his association with Selina Wu, now Portia is being put in a position whereby she may lose her medical license. There is no guarantee that her actions may or may not help Trina’s case as Oz may not wake up of sound mind or wake up at all. Portia may get away with her actions initially, but all know PC is not the place where secrets are kept forever and always. If this event occurs, Portia will be sitting on two explosive secrets.
