Ric Lansing’s New Alliance
The General Hospital preview just dropped for the week of August 17, and it offers incredible insight into what fans should expect to see in the next five days. The promo opens with a scene between Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), on her couch at home.
As they look into each other’s eyes and clink wine glasses, Ric can be heard telling someone, “There’s a growing connection between the two of them.”
It turns out, Ric is talking to Lulu, and he adds, “… if we don’t break it, you and I are going to lose the loves of our lives!”
Lulu looks very unsure as Ric says all this. Is she unsure that Liz and Dante are bonding? Maybe she’s skeptical about ruining Dante’s bond with Liz as she moved on. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see where all this goes.
Drew Cain’s Scheme
As scenes shift, Drew is at the Metro Court Pool with Ava Jerome (Maura West). As the blonde enjoys her mimosa, Drew states, “Together, we can take Sonny down!” Ava smiles back, so it’ll be interesting to see what these two have planned for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and if they’ll succeed.
They both have their own agendas, but will they also mix some pleasure into their business deal and end up in a romance, too?
Shocking Pentonville Standoff
As the General Hospital preview for the week of August 17 comes to a close, there’s a scene from Pentonville. Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) walks out into the visitor area and notes, “It was only a matter of time before you showed up.” He’s wearing a beige prison jumpsuit.
Sonny is shown as his visitor as the mob boss says, “Beige is not your color.”
