General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Receives A Pleasant Surprise-Liesl Returns For Their Wedding?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may receive a pleasant surprise for her and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) upcoming wedding.
Even though they plan to elope, Sonny may surprise her by bringing back her aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to the wedding.
General Hospital Spoilers: Could This Be Sonny Corinthos’ Final Gift?
Bringing Liesl to the wedding, even if they elope on Sonny’s Puerto Rican island, could be Sonny’s final gift to Nina even if the marriage goes through. Kathleen Gati hinted recently on her social media that Liesl might put in an appearance soon.
The last time she was seen was walking away from Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) after the two had a fight, shortly after donating bone marrow to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
Kin has already returned, making a couple of appearances with more to come, so it makes sense that Liesl should show up soon as well.
But the wheels are turning in the background for Nina’s exposure as the SEC whistleblower, and considering Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) nearly got killed in Pentonville, Sonny won’t like it!
GH Spoilers: Michael And Willow Corinthos Will Also Attend
It’s confirmed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow will also attend, with a recent episode showing Michael telling his mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) he had some inside intel.
He apparently has a connection in the SEC who is looking for the person who’s really the whistleblower, since Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) doesn’t remember his Ned identity.
He suffered his near-deadly head trauma tripping on a wet towel by the side of the Metro Court pool, rushing from overhearing Nina saying she was the whistleblower.
Previously, Ned had been blamed because he had made threats, but had never followed through on them-it was just a bunch of hot air but he was the main suspect.
General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Reeves’ Life Could Fall Apart
Nina’s life could fall apart at her dream elopement wedding if Michael spills the beans during the ceremony, or even if he exposes her after the vows are made.
Considering Drew saved Liesl from Greenland, so she could save Willow, even Liesl could be angry and accuse her niece of schadenfreude!
That’s a German word (of course) meaning “malicious joy at another’s suffering” or “gloating over another’s misfortune” although Liesl could have a few other choice words for her niece.
Nina had not known Drew had left for Greenland on the rescue mission when she called Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to make the complaint to the SEC anonymously. Even so, it was an impulsive, not thought out reaction to Willow not including her in her life at the time when Willow was not expected to live.
