Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been handing out favors and attention to all of the other women in his orbit, leaving little attention for his other half as of late.
Nina isn’t good with idle hands, and she hasn’t appreciated waking up alone in a quiet penthouse Sonny keeps slipping out of in the dark of night.
While the truth is Nina may not be cut out for this lifestyle, she’s going to deflect — as usual — and insist that her beef is Sonny’s generosity toward his exes.
She may not be able to deter him from dishing out goodwill to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Ava Jerome (Maura West), but she can compete with them.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny’s Attention Wanes
The more Sonny’s attention drifts toward Carly, Anna, and Ava, the more paranoid Nina is going to become that she has something to worry about.
She’s never felt more threatened by Sonny’s absence than she did when she woke up to him absent in the middle of the night.
Ava laughed at Nina’s concern, but as much as it pained Nina to hear it, she knew Ava was right. This is what comes with being hitched to Sonny, and if Nina doesn’t think she’s cut out for it, it would be better for everyone involved if she said so before they inked their marriage certificate.
GH Spoilers Suggest Nina Spies a Threat
Sonny doesn’t have any romantic interest in Anna or Ava, but he is rather comfortable lying to Nina — and that begs the question: just how much of a chance does this potential union have at lasting?
Sonny is pretty used to keeping secrets from the women in his life when it comes to his business, but his child being at risk and Ava’s involvement doesn’t necessarily exempt Nina from knowing about any of it.
Yet he continues to keep her in the dark. Why is Sonny doing favors for Carly that she didn’t ask for and swinging by her house in the middle of the night when he can’t even tell his fiancé where he’s headed?
When Nina starts asking herself those questions, it’s going to be hard for her to ignore how distracted Sonny is by everyone but her.

Nina will soon recognize that the one thing that is sexiest to Sonny is a damsel in distress. He doesn’t particularly care if a woman in his orbit is even skiing for help.
He’s going to ride to their rescue when he recognizes a problem. That has led some viewers to believe Nina may start coming up with fires for Sonny to put out — even to the extent that she would stage her own kidnapping to regain the don’s attention.
