Molly Davis (Brooke Ann Smith) and TJ Ashford (Tahj Bellow) were devastated to learn that Molly cannot carry their baby. Eventually they decided to use a surrogate.
But this decision is causing mayhem for Molly and TJ at a time when they should be happy and looking forward to building their family. What’s the problem?
Her name is Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) and this plot is turning into a Kristina vs. Molly bruhaha. Here are reasons why fans are not feeling this complicated plot.
General Hospital spoilers: New Actresses Galore
This is not a knock on Mansi or Smith, but the fact of the matter is that each is brand new to the role after the show recast both characters. Put simply, fans are not familiar with these actresses and it takes a while to adjust to change.
Both actresses are doing a nice job, and Mansi has daytime experience on Days of our Lives, so some fans may be familiar with her. As is to be expected, each actress is still getting the feel for their character.
GH spoilers: Molly Excludes Kristina
Adding to the unnecessary drama, Kristina is making her sister’s life decision all about her. She offered to be a surrogate but Molly and TJ think a neutral party without the Davis family baggage is a better option.
Pouring salt into the wound for Kristina, Molly threw a celebration party for her family to let them know a surrogate has been chosen. Everyone but Kristina was invited!
General Hospital spoilers: Davis Daughter Drama
Even before the recasts of the pivotal players in this story, fans were not feeling this surrogacy story. Their opinions count since there would be no show without the audience.
Now it looks like fans will be stuck with a year of Davis daughter drama instead of a heartwarming story about a family being forged.
