General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will make Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) an offer; and this offer will be right up his alley. Knowing that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is demanding animals for the Nurses’ Ball, could he do an act with Comet the Wonder Horse?
General Hospital Spoilers: She Wanted A Llama, But…
Lucy had really wanted a llama but the only one available is the one who spits, so unless Cody can train a llama not to spit maybe Comet will do. There’s no way to do a parachute act, but she knows Cody really knows his horses, and Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) would really love his horse doing an act. Maybe Leo could even be part of it, if he’s not too shy to try-Maxie knows Leo has to be handled with kid gloves sometimes.
Maxie decides to talk to Cody to see if Comet, or Comet with Leo or even Cody with Comet could be an option. Cody may not be in his element in a ball, but he is in a barn, and maybe he could bring Comet as the centerpiece of a bunch of dancing cowgirls.
GH Spoilers: Well, The Dancing Cowgirls Might Be Too Much…
Cody probably won’t be up for being a singing and dancing cowboy, and the dancing cowboys might be too much. But training Comet to do some simple tricks—that’s right up his alley, and he asks more about the ball and what has happened in the past. Maxie talks about Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) ventriloquist act he did every year until someone got mad and killed Mr. Marbles, his ventriloquist puppet. Maybe he can get a new puppet or maybe Cody could teach Comet to mouth human words and Mac throw his voice-like Mr. Ed! Cody still hasn’t come clean about the paternity test and wonders if he really wants Maxie as his stepsister!
General Hospital Spoilers: They Come To A Consensus
After much talking about what the Nurses’ Ball is and what it’s not, they come to a consensus and Cody agrees to let Comet be the star and him his sidekick. It’s not going to be a circus act and not quite a rodeo, but he can train him to do simple things like nod yes and nod no to questions. He’s pretty sure Comet will work for carrots, although they will have to get Quartermaine permission, and he can make it funny.
Now it just has to pass Lucy’s secret approval, and Maxie might have to sneak her into the stable to meet Comet. It’s either that or the llama that spits, and Cody’s not a llama trainer.
