General Hospital spoilers tease Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has a big problem. She’s in love with a man who is hiding something big. Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) has made it clear he’s been married and divorced three times and wants nothing to do with the institution of marriage anymore. What he hasn’t been honest with Lucy about is the $50K he receives every month to be an ex-husband to his mysterious third wife.
Apparently wealthy and somehow involved in the same industry Lucy is, fans are picking up on numerous hints that Marty just may be the former Mr. Erica Kane. If he was married to the cosmetics industry leader and socialite Erica Kane (Susan Lucci), does that mean we’re going to see her soon?

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has caused quite a stir with her recent revelation about Marty’s latest wife. According to Anna, Marty’s ex is actually the wealthier of the two, and is paying him alimony. But is there any truth to this accusation?
Anna may have done some digging into Marty’s past, but did she uncover the same information as Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), who dared to go through his garbage looking for dirt? Rumor has it Anna and Felicia have both unearthed the same secret, but Anna made some assumptions that don’t exactly measure up.
GH Spoilers Leak Jack is Just the Middleman
Lucy is now painfully aware of some unusually large payments coming into Marty’s bank account. She can’t fathom what business he might have out of state that he never looked her into. Is he running some kind of scam? Why is he raking in so much dough he never told her about? Certainly if it’s a secret then it can’t be anything good, right?
Well, sort of. Jack might be dispersing payments from Erica to Marty, but that doesn’t mean they have anything to do with alimony. It’s quite possible that during their marriage, Marty helped Erica with the creation of an age-defying product she’s never brought to market, and now, Deception has. Did Marty give away the plans to The Deceptor after he already sold its rights to Erica?

When it comes to the question of who Marty might have been married to in Pine Valley, the answer that makes the most sense is none other than cosmetics queen Erica Kane (Susan Lucci). After all, Erica was the woman to know in the Pine Valley beauty industry, and she had close connections to Jack, which makes her a logical choice for Marty’s mate. Plus, if Marty had sold Erica the plans for The Deceptor years ago, it would explain why he continued to receive payments for a device that hadn’t even been designed yet.
It’s all speculation, of course, but it certainly adds an intriguing layer to the mystery surrounding Marty’s past. If he was married to Erica, Lucy may come to wonder if the only reason he chased after her was because she’s the next best thing to his latest wife.
