General Hospital Spoilers: Marty Changed Monica’s Will — But Was It Her Decision?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will came as quite a shock to all who knew and loved her this week.
Her family was intent on hearing Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tell them that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was inheriting the Quartermaine estate in the wake of Monica’s death.
Instead, almost all of it was bequeathed to Monica’s long-lost sister, Veronica ‘Ronnie’ Bard (Erika Slezak), setting off a tirade from Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) that is certain to enter the courts.
Is that where it will come to light how the will came to be changed? Could it be that upon finding that doodled-upon letter at Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) place, Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) took it upon himself to play God?
The record shows she made these changes back in January, but could Marty have somehow doctored it to make it look that way? Might he have been linked with the law firm she used or involved in some other way? Could he have changed it but had a friend at that firm sign off on it so as to keep his name out of it?
Fan Fury Snowballs
As the fans continue to piece together what they think happened with Monica’s will, some are starting to get quite testy about the potential that Marty did something unethical and downright illegal with the Quartermaine matriarch’s last wishes.
After all, this guy has been gunning for the Q’s — especially Tracy — for some time now.
Could he be acting on Drew’s orders, or might it be his own doing? All signs point to something shift going on here, but it remains to be seen whether Ronnie isn’t trustworthy, or whether someone is manipulating everything around her to lay tracks for how they want this story to play out.
Marty Works Alone
Marty’s recent behavior gives away that he has been flying solo on this pt project. After all, he’s the one who told Drew not to bother showing up at the Quartermaine mansion on the day of Monica’s will reading because head been removed from it.
Just how did he know that? Some fans are starting to question this and it’s making Marty look very suspicious.

Was he somehow involved with the attorney that Monica hired? Was Alexis just reading notations and assumed the verbiage from that attorney was correct? Did Marty orchestrate getting it into Alexis’ hands to carry his water while he keeps his fingerprints off this mess?
Manipulating a Mother…or a Marty?
Marty couldn’t wait to get that letter to Monica just as soon as he got his hands on it, but fans are wondering about the timeline.
Something doesn’t add up. Alexis said Monica had the will changed in January of this year, but Marty didn’t find that letter until July.
What was so pressing about that letter that it led him to rush to give it to Monica, and why does it seem like GH writers are acting like he never got the chance to talk to her before she passed away nearly three months later? Is this a plothole, or is there more to the story to suggest something is afoot?
If Marty didn’t become aware of Ronnie until July, he could not have assisted in changing her will in January, right? On the other hand, it is possible that Drew planted that letter just so in his home for Marty to find, and that he has been manipulating everyone.
That would be right up his alley. What comes next? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

What a horrible way to honor Monica’s death. Writing is disgraceful. After watching GH for 60 years I am disgusted with this story line. Only to bring back another OLTW actress. Glad to stop watching and join an afternoon book club meeting at my library.
