General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Isn’t Waking Up — She’s Dying
General Hospital spoilers spill Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is the name on everyone’s lips this week as GH ramps up for a new storyline we’ve been waiting years for. Fans suspected there may be news on the horizon for Lulu since she’s been a topic of conversation in recent months.
Plus, we’ve seen Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have a difficult conversation about whether it’s best to let Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) come visit his mother or not. It sounded a lot like Dante had lost any hope of Lulu ever waking up.
The reality is, while we’re all assuming Lulu will wake up soon because Emme Rylan confirmed that GH has recast the role, there’s a strong possibility they did so for a reason — because Lulu is going to die.
General Hospital Spoilers — Say It Ain’t So!
I know, I know. No one wants to hear this, but it’s a reality we must entertain. Let’s call it 50/50. There’s a chance Lulu is coming back. But Emme Rylan has always said she was ready to reprise the role whenever GH called for it.
For them to suddenly offer it to someone else could mean that the role wasn’t worth welcoming Lulu back for if she was only going to be seen awake briefly, or if she was only going to be seen postmortem. It’s possible that after all this time, there is no hope and Lulu is going to let go.
GH Spoilers Gush Dante Could Still Lose Sam
We’ve assumed for some time that eventually Lulu would wake up and inadvertently destroy the love that Dante has for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Lulu dying could actually still bring forth the same devastating impact.
If Dante gets lost in his grief over being forced to let go of any shred of hope he had that he and Lulu would have their chance at love again, it may be too much for Sam to stomach.
Is she really supposed to stay with a man who has apparently been secretly pining for his ex all of this time — even if he was unaware and hiding it from himself too?
General Hospital Spoilers — This Changes Everything
We didn’t see Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) come home for his father, Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) funeral, but Lulu’s may be the one that brings him back.
He was stuck out of the country before, but this time around it sounds like he’s definitely headed home. We’ve all assumed it’s because his sister wakes up, but perhaps it’s because he needs to say goodbye to her. Lulu’s death will also leave Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to stay on the run with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) for an unspecified amount of time.
Furthermore, Lulu being gone means Laura will go through a period of grief that could take her out of the race for mayor this fall. What do you think? Is Lulu on her way back, or on her way out?
[…] At some point, it’s likely to occur to Nina that while she is busting her hump to get — and keep — Drew’s attention, Willow doesn’t have to try hard at all. In fact, Willow trying to avoid Drew and steer clear of time alone with him only seems to draw more of his attention to her. […]
