General Hospital Spoilers: Lucas’ Friendship The Thing That Leads Isaiah to Double Cross Everyone?
General Hospital Spoilers claim Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) got pretty chummy for the first time this week.
They both have that “meet me at the watercooler” vibe about them at work. In fact, I think Isaiah might be a little bit more into the gossip train than even Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is.
Speaking of Portia, she was back at work this week, so that’s going to give her and Isaiah more face time and might make it harder for him to keep his feelings concealed from her if he tries to. And no, I’m not talking about his feelings for her, but rather, his feelings about this impending paternity test.
Isaiah Opened Up
Isaiah didn’t hold back when he told Lucas how much he hopes the baby Portia is carrying is his child. He was brimming with anticipation that he could be a father soon, and it is clear that he wants the result of the paternity test every bit as much as Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) does.
At the same time, he seems to have the same fear and trepidation she does too, albeit for different reasons. Portia doesn’t want to be locked down by Curtis, but last we heard she’s still hoping the baby is his.
Isaiah, on the other hand, doesn’t want the baby to be Curtis’ and seems more than ready to settle down with Portia. What a tangled web; I’m sure Lucas noticed.
Lucas Dropped Hints
When Isaiah was venting about the pressure of dating his boss in the workplace and having all eyes on them at times, Lucas seemed to relate.
He might not have had the same dynamic when he was married to Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), but he knew how it felt to have everyone gossiping about him.
Brad created more than a few fires in their marriage, with his baby switcheroo ultimately sealing their fate and leading them straight for divorce.
It was the scandal on every orderly’s lips. As she commiserated with Isaiah, it occurred to me that he might open up a bit more soon and share what he went through with Brad, and that could be very intriguing information for Isaiah.
Brad is Back
Just because he hasn’t had much screentime since he and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) dined and dashed doesn’t mean Brad is out of the picture.
He’s biding his time and waiting for the right moment to strike — at Lucas’ new boyfriend, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), that is.
If Lucas lets it slip to Isaiah what kind of tricks Brad pulled, it may bring Isaiah full circle thinking about what Portia has also shared about Brad blackmailing her.
