General Hospital Spoilers: Liz Confides In Gregory, Can He Provide Answers?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will confide in Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). Will he be able to provide answers to her about Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) time in the Mariana Islands, or Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara), the woman in her memories?

General Hospital Spoilers: Mariana Islands, 1997

Shortly after her most recent appointment with Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) Elizabeth remembered more details after her hypnotic regression session. She remembered the woman’s face at the bottom of the stairs, and a man standing at the top of the stairs but not his face. A teenage Elizabeth had been in a struggle with the woman, grabbing her arm and telling her to stay away from her father.

She ran out of Kevin’s office knowing what she needed to do, and immediately sketched the face from memory. But later, she went to tell Finn about her memory and saw the woman’s face on his phone; he explained it was his late wife, Mariana Islands, 1997.

GH Spoilers: All There Together

Elizabeth’s parents were in Doctors Without Borders, later relocating to Sarajevo, but she and her sister Sarah Webber (Sarah Laine) moved to Port Charles. Elizabeth found a photo of herself and Sarah with “Mariana Islands, 1997” on the back. Finn and Reiko were also in Doctors Without Borders, in the Mariana Islands in 1997 as he had explained, Elizabeth not showing him the sketch as planned.

But it is obvious now to Elizabeth that Finn’s throwing Peter August (Wes Ramsey) down the stairs may have triggered her for more reasons than just the stairs. Maybe it was Finn who threw Reiko down too and saw Elizabeth saw it, or maybe it was just one big sad accident and Reiko lost her balance.

General Hospital Spoilers: Pertinent Questions

Elizabeth may not confide her flashbacks or seeing Reiko in them to Gregory right off, although he knows about them; Finn has confided in him about Elizabeth’s troubles. One thing she may want to know that she can easily explain not being comfortable about asking Finn is what year Reiko died, citing bad memories for him. If Gregory tells her that Reiko died later than 1997 from Blackwoods’ Syndrome like Finn’s narrative, then at least she’ll know Reiko didn’t die from the fall down the stairs.

But if Reiko did die in 1997 Finn’s story of her death may not entirely be true; he did contract Blackwoods’ Syndrome, and she may have. But her death may not have been from the disease, and Elizabeth will have to delve deeper.
