The General Hospital promo for the week of February 16-20 highlights Maxie’s return home, featuring some intriguing moments between Liesl and Nathan.
Liesl Bursts In On Nathan And Britt And Tells Them About Maxie
In the preview, Liesl and Nathan are seen at the hospital where the doctor informs her that Maxie is awake.
She confidently declares, “You and Maxie are meant to be together, and nothing can stop that.” However, Liesl should be cautious, as there are individuals who could disrupt Nathan and Maxie’s reunion, specifically Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)!
Spinelli and Maxie have been back together since Nathan’s death. They have built a lovely family with their daughter, Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher), along with her siblings, James West (Gary James Fueller), and Bailey Lu Jones (Miley & Riley Plonski).
Spinelli And Maxie Are Together, And Nathan’s Into Lulu
The couple is very much in love and has supported each other significantly in the years following Nathan’s supposed death; then there’s the Lulu factor.
Nathan feels a connection with Lulu because they have both been away and returned home. Lulu returned to her hometown after being in a coma for four years, surprised to find that her two children had grown up and that her relationship with PC had changed a lot.
Although Nathan wasn’t in a coma, he was away for seven years and reportedly has no memory of his time away, returning to a hometown that feels very different. There’s also a complicated issue here: Nathan doesn’t seem like himself anymore.
Nathan Has Messed Up Some Important Police Procedures He Should Know Better About
He has messed up some important PCPD procedures since coming back to his job as a detective, and his comment about his dad to Lulu during the snowstorm has fans speculating.
They wonder whether he’s Peter August (Wes Ramsey) or possibly Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) or someone else entirely! Additionally, if Nathan’s last memory was before he was shot, he would still be in love with Maxie; however, he has been so focused on Lulu that he hasn’t thought about his “wife” at all.
Liesl, on the other hand, is unaware of all this, including the closeness between Lulu and Nathan. She sees her son and will likely try to interfere in his life to make sure that Maxie and Nathan end up together!
Liesl Doesn’t Have Problems With Spinelli, But She’s Clearly Team ‘Naxie’
While Liesl has no issues with Spinelli, she clearly supports #TeamNathan when it comes to Maxie. Nathan and Maxie had a wonderful love story, and Liesl would be thrilled to see Spinelli out of the picture so Nathan can be part of Maxie’s family. Liesl is not the villain she used to be, but she is still willing to scheme for the “greater good.”
She wouldn’t harm Spinelli, but that doesn’t mean she won’t go the extra mile to make sure Maxie and Nathan have some private time together.
No amount of interference can make Nathan and Maxie get back together if they aren’t both willing, however, it could create a complicated situation.
